Yanno, rereading D1 beruposts it seems like beru does an awful lot of Waco shading. I'm mildly alarmed, therefore, that I didn't pick up on them as responsible for that lynch at all.

Hmm. This is A Thing, in that it explains beru's behaviour pretty well but I still don't understand why they made no effort to explore anything other than Waco D1 and then collapsed in a heap when it didn't pan out.

It reminded me of that because of the way Vaimes addresses Jan in the beginning of that post, but also because his read on Jan is "he's defending me and I like it". Also, Kalas is his top townread but he doesn't actually give a read on him.

I didn't vote yesterday because there weren't consistent votals and I didn't know if I was going to accidentally hammer anyone because I didn't know what the votecount was.

 

Okay, so I am unsure if I achieved anything with this but I cross-referenced Jan's play in WH invitational and it seemed...more involved in the game than he is here. The games are different enough that I don't feel super solid on it (particularly, WH has the mechanical fuckery to get involved in) but he was town there and here he feels less like he's really trying to achieve anything.

I also don't know if this sort of meta comparison is even useful, but I sure didn't feel like reading THIS thread last night and WH invitational was a hilarious shitfest :v
