I Love it. Great idea guys.

 

I don't think it's unreasonable to think we can break into the top ten in a week. That being said, already punched God, etc. We can bask in the awesome that is DLP for now.

Sometimes, it does a soul good to be a cog in a larger machine. Some people play sports, others do charity. Me? I subscribe a Harry Potter c2.

Oh man, we've skittered past them long ago. 424 members at the moment. FFNet is just shit.

I'm still amazed we're increasing at a rate of around 7-8 an hour. You guys are the best.

 

So, I just realized that I never actually joined the C2, even though I thought I did.

I've subscribed now (and double-checked to make sure I actually did this time), so that makes 425 (or more?) now.

Hah, we're in 23rd place now.

That's pretty awesome. This whole endeavor turned out way better then I expected.

 

First place has a little over 2k. I propose that we utterly crush that with the full force of DLP might. I have subscribed and give my apologies for leeching. I would contribute more but I can't write for shit and most things I would comment have already been said.

 

Nothing gives me a warm fuzzy feeling like watching DLP crush the opposition.

 

Late to the game I suppose, but a well-intentioned endeavor nonetheless. (Obligatory standing ovation for emb.)

Good-job on everyone, hopefully the authors that don't get much exposure (emb and the like) will benefit greatly from this.

Another thing, any DLP authors should put the link to this C2 at or near the top of their profile page, with a short description, perhaps. I know I tend to look the profile page over before I even read a fic someone writes, and I'm sure it's not that uncommon.

-shrug- It's an easy way to potentially attract more subscribers from people that may enjoy certain authors from here, but not actually be a DLP member.

 

I'd appreciate if you took out The Insane Adventures of Harry Potter. It's a terrible fucking story and I wrote it when I was 15.
