Yeah, my daily stats have pretty much doubled since the 15th. Not updated in a while (hopefully soon though).

Time will tell if it is something sustained.

 

I'd say it's working. Traffic on Gentleman Usher... increased about 1400% over the last 3 days. Profile traffic about average, maybe a little above normal.

 

How much do you think the increase in hits is down to newer DLP members being made aware of these works instead of FF.Net readers finding them for the first time?

I imagine its a mixture of both. If we can hit the top ten, then I reckon things will really pick up.

 

Yeah, I agree. And who knows, maybe one day a good story will have over 10k reviews, not just the ones written by pre-pubescent morons.

 

That said, most of those 10k reviews will be:

'OMGz1!! grate stoury plz updt sun!!@!@??'

Any single review from a DLPer either here or on ff.net is worth more than 10,000 reviews like the one above.

There has certainly been a traffic increase, if the ff.net stats are to be believed. Wastelands just broke over 1.2 million hits. Take the number of reviews I have at the moment for the story on ff.net...2,342... and that's...

1 review every 516.8 hits.

I'll be watching that average as the C2 rises to further greatness.

We only need another 169 subscribers to top this piece of shit. I think that goal is reachable.

 

And one more after that makes us pass another C2.

From here up to the Top 5 the C2's are fairly close to each other.

The Top 2 are massive jumps though...

 

Logical for it to grow exponentially near the top. Probably a lot of overlap with some of the 'popular' C2's. 3rd would be a reasonable goal, I suspect.

5. Veela, Soul Mates and bonding fanfiction
This C2 will have all the good fanfiction of Veela, Soul Mate and bonding fanfiction that I can find. I am a big fan of slash so except to find alot of different pairing in here, my favorite being DracoHarry.

Experienced a similar surge in hits, Thief broke past 800k.

I'm rushing an update so I can put a link to the c2 at my author's note at the end of the chapter.

Readers tend to pay more attention to that the the author's profile page.

 

I don't think the surge is because of the c2. Why, you ask? Because BGP is somehow getting a lot more traffic than it used to, and it isn't even in the c2 (although, considering that you did add Abjuration, it should be). Or perhaps DLP is getting more traffic because of this and more people are surfing its library?

It would appear that Taliath's 'Young Again: The Rewrite' is not on this C2. It is certainly deserving it.
