I make a lot of changes behind the scenes, but don't do a very good job of letting folks know what changed. Especially this summer, I've been challenging myself to do a "change a day" on DLP or DLP infrastructure.

First off, the backlog of changes I remember:

• Thanks to T3t for the base frontend implementation, there's now an "Autofill from FFN" button to use Scryer's data to fill out Library/For Review threads automatically.
• IRC chat is now relayed to the DLP frontpage on the sidebar.
• There are now account subscriptions (Bronze, Silver, Gold) which are recurring donations to DLP.
• Some forum reorganization is underway. See the Make DLP Great Again thread.
• "Conversations" are now called "Private Conversations", and a big button has been added to profile pages to make it easy to start a private conversation vs. a public profile post.
• Donation bar now includes account subscriptions for the month in the total.
• Work By Author is now visible to unregistered users. They can browse forums and thread titles, but not the content of threads.
• Sticky threads are now highlighted to make it easier to delineate when viewing a forum.
• "WIP" skin is now called "DLP". "Dark Lord Potter" is now "DLP Classic." Like Coke Classic, this was also a failure.
• The Story Showcase forums (under Work by Author) are now visible again.
• The Thread Rating mod has been modded and now only displays thread ratings for threads outside Work By Author.
• The donation bar shows >100%. @Microwave

• Admins can now bulk manage thread tags.
• All forums under Fanfiction Extras have been merged into their previously HP-specific forums:
  • Dresden Files is now in Fanfic Discussion (tag: dresden files)
  • Worm is now in Fanfic Discussion (tag: worm)
    
  • Story Challenges in Story Challenges (tag: other fandoms)
  • Story Search -> Story Search
  • Original Fiction Discussion has been promoted to a top-level forum under Common Room

• Scryer can now search over structured ships (e.g. Harry/Fleur), vs. just character search.
• Hedwig (IRC relay bot) and analytics infrastructure upgraded to newest Rust and Actix.

 

• Scryer now has auth via DLP. If you don't have an account, it's created. Otherwise it matches based on email address and links your account.

 

• SSO applies a "remember me" token now.
• Scryer checks "remember me" in login by default.
• Dropdown menu text color is fixed.
• Scryer nags users to login, especially if they're from DLP -- presents a login button on the index page.

 

• Scryer now updates threads in the various Library forums whose first post refer to a FFN story. Example.
  
• Misc indexing fixes to Scryer, some new characters weren't properly being indexed, leading to stories never updating.
