I'll throw in a Portal copy and would like to get something too, crossing my fingers for an author, but a game is cool too. If possible I would like to get The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, but I'm not complaining if I don't.

Edit - I also decided to throw in an Overlord Complete Pack (Overlord, Overlord: Raising Hell, Overlord II).

I recommend using it to pretty much everyone, the deals you can get for an enormous variety of games both old and brand spanking new are almost fucking absurd to the point where I half wonder how it still turns a good profit. These games go for freaking pocket change most of the time.

 

Would love to partake. Can't throw in a gift myself sadly. Would love me some Assassin's Creed. Or Batman, I'm not picky.

Just played EYE, and OMFG is it lulzy BS crazy on character management.

NO auto-reload = FML. GL anyone who receives my three spares and tries to play.

 

As I recall they're taking donations of coal as well so if you want to and you have some you could donate your coal pieces from your Steam Inventory.

Just saw this, so don't know if I'm too late, but I'll throw my name in the hat for writing a one-shot for whoever draws me.

 

What the hell, put me down for receiving a game too (no Skyrim, I've already got 159 hours on the counter). Don't care what it is besides that though.

 

Throw me in there for something mac compatible. I've got a copy of terraria to give as well.

EDIT: My steam was playing up, so I had to delete it and re-install it. Most annoyingly, I find that it says that some case insensitivness (is that even a word?) is going on, so I can't run steam. I am angry now. I'll get back you on the Terraria copy.

Oh I can't believe I'm just now thinking of this but to be on the safe side we should all probably post what games out of the list we already have so we don't get extras.

 

We should but lets save that for the very end, when no more games are added to the list.

Taking into account platform (Windows, OS X) and system specs might be something to look into, as well.

 

Eh I guess but I kinda feel if you did that it wouldn't be fair to some folks. For instance if someone would have gotten Skyrim through this, I don't think that should be changed just because their PC might not be able to handle it at the moment. I think account platform should be taken into account because thats pretty much not changeable without an entirely new computer but system specs shouldn't play a part in deciding who gets what.

 

Hrm it should in a way though. If someone who's got a bargain basement laptop or a Emachine pc with an integrated video card wins Skyrim they've got zero chance in hell of playing it, where as Cthulu or Terraria would be awesome sauce for them.

I think this is something that we should do at the very least, at Christmas, and Christmas in July for the summer sales. Ban them from participating if they get a game they wind up not being able to actually run, or worse if we find out about it. Sure they might be able to eventually upgrade to play it, but if it's going to sit unused for years it's not quite right.

Okay touche you do make a good point, when I said that I was thinking of my own situation that I got Skyrim before my PC could run it but I knew Id be getting a much better graphics card sometime in the immediate future which would let me play it.

 

Not related to that, but i got that copy of Terraria to gift properly now.

It's a good feeling when your giving and taking, rather than just being a bum
