I've already written something but I'd prefer to save it for next month, so if it's not too late I'd be willing to judge.

I'm gone for a few days and find this. Time constraint has already been bitched about, so I'll not waste my breath there. I fear there won't be enough momentum with General, but as writing has never been a problem for me, (I usually just sit down and write,) I'll toss my hat in for the end of the month deadline.

Just need to find another plot. Will probably look in on the plotbunny thread.

I assumed General meant submission of stories that would normally be in this part of the library which isn't the same as "anything goes."

    Clarification?

Also I'm willing to be a judge but I'm not sure I'm what would be wanted -- I'd read the stories and vote based on what I enjoyed reading the most. Nitpicks about which one is "better" based on writing style, grammar, or whatever is not something I do well.

For instance, Frankenstein may be a true classic and a thought provoking piece of literature. It may offer fantastic opportunities for teaching literature, writing, or whatever else. But I didn't like it and it wouldn't win any awards from me despite the fact that I can appreciate the things that make it a famous piece of literature.

Okay. If you do not have a PM from me in your inbox saying YAY YOU'RE A JUDGE, you were not selected for judging.

The fact that we can see that there are threads and posts in the Story Submission but not read them is just mean. That being said, best of luck to those competing and judging.

    Ah, I'd forgotten about this.

Yeah I can punch something out in a week, I guess. So I can see the 'Award Story Submission' section. If I get a story done in time do I just click New Thread' and post it up, or is submission via a mod?

I'll judge for the Feburary Awards, if you're taking apps right now. If not, ignore this post.
