DLP logs me off too quickly?

Now, I know its normal to be logged off automatically after a while of inactivity, but DLP seems to be doing this too quickly. For instance, I am reading something in the WBA and when I want to go onto the next page of the thread, I am already logged off and have to log in again, as WBA isn't visible otherwise. Its just a bit annoying. It doesn't take me much more than 10 minutes to read a page in WBA so I was wondering if being logged off by DLP so quickly is normal or if its something at my end? And is it possible to fix this at all??

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I've had this problem too, but it's much quicker than 10 minutes. If I try to post something and it takes longer than 3-4 minutes to write, I get booted. If I want to leave a long reply I have to cut and paste from Word. It's pretty irritating, but I'm not sure what the problem is either.

When you log in to DLP, there is an option remember me. Select that and you will remain logged in for about three days, I think. If you do not chose this option you will be logged out if the system does not register a hit within a particular time-frame. However, do not use the remember me option if you are in a public terminal. If you do, then make sure to log out after your work is done.

    Hope this helps.

Ah, thank you. I must be blind not to have seen that. I shall remember to do that in the future.

If you're using firefox there's also the option it gives you to "remember me"

I don't get logged out that much either. I usually have the remember me box checked.

If you have cookies disabled, or don't have forums.darklordpotter.net on the "allow" list, the session won't be carried long (as sessions are automatically erased after a preset time).

If you use Firefox and keep the default settings, and the "Remember Me" function, you'll stay online for weeks. 'Twas what I am using.
