I haven't seen a formal announcement about the submission ending for the March contest, so would it be too late to submit a beta'd version of my story? My beta got back to me far sooner than I anticipated.

Any idea of when the results for the March contest will surface?

 

A good question. I was expecting them yesterday, but it seems they're delayed compared to the previous ones.

Also, what is a topic for April Contest? I'm guessing Time-Travel, but haven't seen anything official about it.

 

Results will surface when the judges stop being cunts and judge, I'd guess. Personally, I think April should be Comedy, given what the first day of the month is and all.

 

When can we expect official word about a topic for April? Because right now instead of month we'll have only about two weeks to write something. I doubt it matters to the most of authors who tend to write in the last possible moment (well, at least I do ), but it still gives a time to think about it.

Also, it seems that this batch of judges takes its time to score fics. Shame we will never see what lengthy reviews and deep analysis they wrote there.

 

Not to be a smartass or unappreciative or anything, but... how motivated are you guys in getting the results up? It's been over two weeks since april started. Last time we had results by about the 7th, and it looks to have been around the same point for January.

The judges this time around were slow as fuck for the most part.

 

About the long and in-depth reviews, is there any chance we can see them? I don't see how it could possibly affect the next month's judging.

This. I'd suggest not letting the judges that were dragging their feet on this one return. My 16k word entry took shorter to write than it did for these clowns to judge it.
