A heart-felt thank you to the Judges, but especially to Judge #4 in the commentary. I'll be looking into cleaning the one-shot up and hammering out the issues you brought up in the time ahead.

 

Wow, this is a pleasant surprise. I just wish I had more time to edit the thing in full. I literally finished writing the last scene two hours before the deadline, and took the next two to just make sure everything lined up properly. Still, I thank the judges for rating it as highly as it did, and I should have an edited/betad/polished version, with the 'real' extended ending and finished actions scenes sometime later in this month. It wasn't supposed to end on the line "Well, here we are," but I figured that was a good spot to end my efforts for the challenge since that is the very last line uttered in the last episode of the tv show. Parallelism and all that.
