@MK- how are we deciding what the 'big deal' games are to actually hand out individually versus which ones to simply put up for the group on steam gifts? And almost as importantly, when should we start posting the lower level games to steam gifts? Christmas Eve with a 24 hr window? 48 hour window?

 

I'm deciding. But with so many this year being unable to get onto SG, I'm not going to use it except for a few games, to create interest in people getting on there. I used Skyrim as a test, and had 9 people join, which I thought was a failure... then I realized around 40 people that could've entered, couldn't, because they already had it, so I was just thinking it failed when I actually did what it was supposed to do, prevent people who already had the game from trying to double dip.

As the ones we do post, you guys don't post them, I'll message those whose games are going on there, and send them to me so I can post them and manage it. Like I said though, I'm not going to do a huge bunch of them like I'd thought, maybe just a few. For the humble bundles and stuff, it's essentially going to wind up being if you want it, call it, since we have so many. Next year we're not going to use them at all, and I'm going to ban out a few games, like Deus Ex HR, who almost everyone has at this point from bundles, or from 2$ sales.

I've been working 16 hour days the last several months, and am finally, after a brief 2 day vacation in Myrtle Beach, actually at home for more then a concious hour a day. So I'm starting to make the main list of what we have, and WILL BE COMPARING IT TO YOUR WISHLISTS, SO GET THEM UPDATED!

I can only release a small number of giveaways on Steamgifts.com at one time. I have to wait for them to expire next month before I can add more. Does anyone here want to create some DLP giveaways for me?

On SG.com, go to "Create a giveaway". It will tell you how many gifts you're allowed to give at the moment. PM me your gifting limit, and I'll PM you back with the games to put up. The more people who can help, the better for all of us.

 

Yak just make a giant list of games you have available, and let people pick and choose. You've got a shitton of humble bundle keys, which will be impossible for me to sort through in any humane amount of time. Let folks just grab what they'll use. Otherwise we'll be trying to make giveaways for the next year, lol.

Here's where I'm at. About half done. I've got a sheet with about 250 games on it. A lot of them are duplicates, a lot of them are going to be impossible for me to find homes for, since many of you A) aren't in the Steam group, or B)HAVE YET TO DO YOUR WISHLISTS!

The Origin keys, I can't do anything with. I have no idea who has what. So unless I'm 100% sure someone doesn't have that game on Origin I can't go assigning keys. Right now I'm holding a Dead Space 1, and Dead Space 3 key, up for grabs, courtesy of Xeno, for whomever will play it!

Steamgifts is going to have some more large game giveaways going up, on a short timer, so pay attention to this thread for updates. If you haven't gotten a PM from me with what goes where yet, you'll get one in the upcoming days. Please let me know when you've sent them.

 

Thanks to Fenraelis and Chrrno, I've got a dozen giveaways up on SG already. They have an end date set at one month away which is when I get back home and can start handing keys out.
