Or, it could have just been that people annoyed him enough that he decided the few likable people on this site weren't worth it. For me, most of the people I really don't like (like Darius) stay on IRC so much that I barely ever see them, so it isn't a problem. The only time they get off IRC is to post something that happened on IRC that no one else understands.

BioPlague at least appears to put some time, thought, and effort into his trolling. Darius seems to just jump on whatever troll bandwagon happens to be going on at the time.

This is the best time of year to be in Seattle, actually, since we're heading into our 3 weeks of summer.

@Heir: No. The only way to respond to a troll is...not to respond. The whole point of trolling is to get a response; responding encourages them to troll more, regardless of how intelligent or dumbed down you want to appear. That's why you get authors like JBern looking like retards on the forums; who claims grown family man status, yet responds to some no-name 'net personality?

To use your comparison, it's like going to a foreign country, and finding people who speak my language. Or simply choosing not to go there.

My hatred of Darius is actually not that excessive. The guy is a prick, and he shoves that fact in your face. He also isn't even a regularly posting prick, which annoys me even more. He seems to only post when he has something to say that can make him seem in some general way more Hard Core.

No, I just dislike him enough to comment about it in certain instances. (I.E. when he posts or when I'm warning a newbie of his random idiocy.)
