I fucking hate how you guys refer to things as white knighting. I defended Lungs, but because he's a guy, it's not white knighting. Ollie re-used Menace's stupid joke of accusing people before the game even starts, and it's white knighting me. You guys are idiots.

To clarify, this is what white knighting should be defined as: <Azira> On an internet forum, a person who defends a member who is clearly wrong, usually with the hopes of gaining brownie points with said member. Often seen as negative behavior.

And this is what is often defined as: <Fiat> White knighting is the word used whenever you disagree with someone and they're on the same side of an argument as a girl.

Yes, I know Eidolonic was joking, but I felt it needed to be said.

 

You gotta admit though, it's not completely unfounded. Hell, just look at DLP WH2. There were Ashaya town reads flying all over the place and you were on vacation pretty much the entire game. Dumb shit, that.

 

I was town, so it was warranted.

Especially when... almost all of them were from scum? I mean, I suppose that is one way to be sure someone is town.

People defend Ashaya because unlike some people, she's actually likeable. Even when she's scum, her general demeanour isn't hyper-belligerent, regardless of her enthusiasm (or lack thereof) for the game. No, I'm not advocating that we all attempt to board the metaphorical Hippopotamus Train; I still remember Death Eaters 1, thank you very much.

All I'm saying is that people defend those with whom they find easy to socialise, excepting the cases in which they are on the same faction.

Anyway, something I already told Lungs: I have an upcoming Bioethics project on IVF, examinations on June 21, and ward runs at the hospital. Thus, I might not be the most active in this game, although I'll still try my hardest to fulfill the posting requirements to which I had agreed when I signed-up. Please be aware that I'll be busy, though, so I might not be able to be on my top, most active game.

And no, I'm not using this as a cop-out; those of you who know me are probably already aware that I study Medicine, and that my timetable can be very erratic and unpredictable at times. =/
