You're just too cool for me to feel safe around, obviously. It's like a bug-zapper. I know I shouldn't, but I just... can't... help... it...

Are you the Pope or the Queen of England?

    Why?

Less than 6 hours remaining and we had no discussion today, pretty much. Horrible. I won't be home till after the deadline, either, so I won't even get to interact with the panicked last-minute attempts to lynch/avoid being lynched that are sure to follow. Good luck with that, I guess.

    Lynch Vote:
Vira (2+2) – Rubicon; Menace; Lucky (Deadline); Wetnurse (Deadline).
    Riley (2) – Aekiel; Azira.
Fontisian (1+1) – Fen; Vira (Deadline).
Rents (0+2) – Stojil (Deadline); Caesar (Deadline).
    Jwlk (0+1) – Sesc (Deadline).
    Aekiel (0+1) – Riley (Deadline).
    Luckylee (0+1) – Font (Deadline).

We need eleven votes to lynch. We have five hours left.

Of the people up on the block, I'm okay with lynching Riley (reasons stated), Font (reasons stated), Jwlk (who still hasn't posted in like two days), and Lucky (though I'd prefer more time with adjust my read on him). If we don't lynch someone, we always have the Klackerz to fall back on.

    So, what are we doing?

No, Sesc conveniently didn't have time Friday, and just now a power outage.

Leaving that aside, as well as that the statement is factually untrue, since I posted after winning, in what way is me disappearing "convenient"? You write words, but I'm not sure they have meaning. Convenient because I wasn't around to read your posts and your vague "looks like xyz" ideas? Because I can see no other topic that concerned me, sans the general discussion on who to lynch and who to asylumise, in regards to which I would label my absence very much inconvenient.

I'm not even sure I should address your points regarding me, given that. On top of that, all you quoted was very much before I was elected. I added my opinion not least so that people could make a decision based on that. If you had problems with it, why would you wait until after I was elected to point that out?

I'm actually inclined to agree with Jon #52. I know you're doing this every game, but currently, you're pushing it.

    ---

Anyway. jwlk still hasn't returned to explain his post (so my vote stays), and Seratin hasn't posted at all. Awesome. I promised I'd lynch everyone that lurks before the game, but admittedly, I didn't expect to have options there :s

@fonti: Not at all convinced by your response to Vira #134.

    How does your response

describe in any way your post? How is that not backtracking? Like I said:

That aside, Riley proclaiming not wanting to become Mayor when no one even had suggested that remains odd, and his readwall has the same quality as the one during the last game, that is to say, a bit of summarising trivialities and a lot of I dunno.

And finally, the late push for the Wetnurse wagon for Mayor struck me oddly. Ignoring the fact that it didn't catch on, it kinda felt ... manufactured? Something like that.

So that's what I'm currently looking at. Any ideas for asylum, besides the obvious idea of putting Seratin & co there?

I think Seratin will be replaced or modkilled at the end of the day phase, so I don't think there's much point.

I'm okay with putting Jwlk in there and perhaps Font, depending on who's lynched. Actually, I think I really want Font to be asylum-ed. I haven't been satisfied with any of her answers thus far.

Also, after I posted, I noticed Luckylee and Wetnurse browsing the thread for a bit before vanishing. Come on guys, you gotta post; this is supposed to be a team effort.

Maybe. Anyway, it's a useful way to get inside people's heads, you should try it.

    How'd you reach that conclusion?

Also I tentatively don't think Caesar is buddies with Vira.

Honestly, if you had just said "yeah I guess that doesn't make sense I shouldn't be so quick to call those players town" that would make me feel better than this ^ deliberately ignoring the point / pretending to be more obtuse than you are as a defensive strategy.

And no, for some reason I always roll town.

This is ridiculously scummy and you should feel ashamed.

Hi Sesc, are you hoping to get 10 more votes on jwlk in the next 3 hours 19 minutes?

It's difficult to imagine a jwlk lynch happening today. Do you want to switch to Vira, who only needs a far more plausible 6 extra votes to get the rope?

What, you want to lynch me today because I have the most votes? Come on, man. We have the Klackerz, there's no need to make hasty lynches.

If you're that suspicious of me, politely ask Sesc or the Irene to throw me in the asylum to deal with tomorrow.

... I'm not going to let you decide who I'm going to vote for, Rubicon. The only possible answer I could give to that is affirmative, else you start crowing I'm trying to stop Vira from getting lynched.

    No. Fuck that.

Go start making a case to convince people, if you think she needs to get lynched, and stop asking troll-questions like "do I expect 10 votes in three hours". The last time you did this, you claimed doctor. Obviously, I'm not expecting 10 votes, I do, however, expect jwlk to show up and DO SOMETHING.

And if he doesn't, I have a lot of time left to consider what else I'm going to do.

We have two hours and twenty minutes remaining.

Sesc, have you decided on who you're going to asylum? It would suck if the Irene tried to asylum the person you're trying to asylum, so let's get this out of the way now. You should have a backup choice, too, just in case the Klackerz lynches your main choice.

hmm, Rents looks like a scum to me. I don't really want a no-lynch situation on the first day itself.

    Deadline Vote:Rents

I'll be here until day end which is in just over 2 hours I guess

Hallelujah, it's over. The busy, that is.

It reads like that because I was. Long story short is I didn't have time to really sit down with the thread and form detailed opinions. Now I do, and all is good. Yay.

Really my suspicion over the speed of the Sesc vote is we kind of fell into it out of apathy. Most people’s reason’s for voting for him can be categorized as “I like Sesc, I don’t like these other guys, let’s pick us some Sesc.” That's..pretty fair as far as mayor votes have gone. It just makes me uneasy. I wanted a more detailed answer to this but I don't have one, sorry. D: The best I can offer is I had to go on gut instinct over the past four days considering how busy I was.

I have not re-read the whole thread. I'm still reeling a bit from the past few days. I read half and skimmed the other half. But from what I have gone through.

Jwlk: His play this game is reminding me heavily of DLP Hunt 1. I don't like it. I would not mind seeing him lynched.

Azira: I don't like Azira this game. He has been very careful; which is uncharacteristic. However, I noticed on a few posts he didn't even bold his votes. This suggests he's not giving the game his full attention. I would like to see more from him.

Font: Vira had a point about Font. The triple post does stand out. I know she's tried to defend it, but I'm not really satisfied with the answer. I would like to see what she does with day 2, but I wouldn't be opposed to lynching her either.

Jon: I was beginning to consider Jon town, but looking back through the thread I noticed post #55. Aside from just feeling manipulative in general, it can also be seen as light rolefishing. I'd also say it's fairly unhelpful advice. The serious talk is often necessary to get the conversation going, right? So yeah, not a fan of Jon right now.

Small notes on other players would be:

Stojil is clearly still frustrated from the last game. I'd also say today, as far as scum hunting goes, has not been easy.

Caesar does seem like he's holding back. I would like to see more.

Rubicon is acting very similar to his last game. He might like the playstyle, he might be scum, or he might be trying to get more info. Personally I'd place him as soft scum right now.

I'll be here for the remaining 2 hours and xx minutes. As such:

    Deadline Vote Lynch: Jwlk

It should be noted I can change at any time. I don't get an especially scummy vibe from Vira, but if it came down to it then I would lynch her.

Pretty sure I've bolded all my votes, feel free to actually point out where I didn't if you're going to use this as any kind of justification for me not paying full attention.

Also yes, I have been careful, because being hyper has got me killed the last few games and I'd rather live through a couple this time and actually get to play >.>

@Vira: Well, for all the talk about deciding together who gets to go to the asylum, everyone sure was quiet. I suggested any of the lurkers, you suggested fonti, Aekiel suggested Riley, I think that's it.

There's a point about Seratin and getting subbed. jwlk, however, has posted and was online. So, actually, let's try this one:

jwlk: If you decide not to post, I'll chuck you into the asylum.

The alternatives are Riley, fontisian, and you.

@Azira: That was my other thought. All the same, I would like to see some kind of scum team or readwall today or day 2. If you can manage.

As for the no bolding. I derped. Post #89 is the one I was thinking of. I thought you did it twice, but it was only once. Otherwise 89 isn't really a bad post. I should have double checked that.

Actually I was gearing up to say

"Why are you not more worried about a no-lynch?
wat r u doing sesc stop sesc no"

But then I realized I was forgetting something major about this particular setup.

If we don't lynch Vira, I obviously think you should lock her up with your demon mayor powers. If we do lynch her, then I politely agree with Aekiel that you should asylum Riley Poole.
