I remember when I was just a sad forum lurker, and people's names were set in stone. Now names are changed everyday...it's killing me! Does anyone have some sort of list (rather, can some one make one?) with everyone's original names?

I remember when Raven actually wrote fanfiction, back in the day i was kinda fanboyish over Era of Hogwarts. Pretty sure that was the first HP ment-to-be-but-ultimately-wasn't Rowena Ravenclaw fics as well as near on the first of the time travel fics out.

Though then again i believed that Ulksers fic was the ducks nuts and truely opened doors to the HP/Voldemort knowledge theft trend.

I think the complaint was regarding Darius' post, Xipho's was just about the catapult.

I think that was probably IP82's doing--gotta remember he posted the lion's share of fics back then... Also like others have pointed out that was a really popular genre at the time. Of course then it went from an interesting plot device that explained a few things to emofest central to meaning teh gay mansects...

The thing that really fueled the fire was all the stupid fics that used the same tired old cliches over and over and over and...

And then by the end of '05 I realized how retarded my posts were and tried to shed my past with a new alias, DGD. Being 13 and having downs I didn't know about the whole IP address thing.

2006, enter The Office, the official newbie hazing fic. Many other things that have already been mentioned, first real set of banhammers. Me and middy being the only peeps in IRC for a while, then others started trickling in.

The first and last DLP graphics and art contest, to which I submitted 238942738947 entries. I was so obsessed with photoshop haha.

I can't BELIEVE no one mentioned the trivia bot yet, that was the bread and butter of IRC until we actually started talking to eachother. I remember it being awkward at first after posting to communicate for so long haha.
