Yeah, it is hard to get really close even if you know exactly where it is.

I got bugged down on Level 8. Seriously it was Africa that killed me.

It is bloody hard to get closer than 50-60 km though. Even Sankt Petersburg which is dead easy to spot I got 60 km away. The map is too far away.

I got within 20 km of Fenway park on level 5. It was Africa and the island nations that got me.

Same here, can't get past 6th level, IQ is always somewhere between 91-95.

Though I haven't played more than 4 times, going to try to go till 10th level, wish me luck

I got within 50 miles of Rome, and 53 miles of Dallas (Though, I live there, so that was easy.).

After four tries, I never got more than 180000 or higher than 93 (never past lvl 6).
I did get within 31 miles of Big Ben, though.

 

It's fucking impossible to accurately pinpoint the locations so 2km is a) awesome and b) awesome luck. Though I didn't complain when I got within 7km of the pantheon.

 

I just got 05 km from Christchurch!

This game is strangely addictive. When you describe it, it sounds boring, but when playing it's hard to stop.

 

Never broke 90 and my closest was 14 KM from CN tower ^_^
