I think he meant fixed point in time.

DAMN YOU TO HELL!! I had successfully avoided Chuck Testa memes for months.

Yeah I meant fixed-point, not time-locked, for some reason I was equating them to be the same.

I was referring to the "superior" race of Daleks from Danny Boy as the newest race of Daleks, not sure if they actually were, would have preferred if I'd used incarnation?

Weren't the Daleks from Doomsday a little occupied with the Cybermen, or are you referring to something else?

Care to elaborate, you lost me a little here...

Amy and Rory's divorce wasn't nearly plausible, also did something happen at Demon's Run that ended Amy's ability to have kids, or was it just the whole "the Doctor's boning my daughter" bit that was a problem? Because I don't recall anything else happening, but it has been a while.

Rory did have so many badass moments, but notice that most of them were during his attempts to rescue/protect Pond.

She specifically said that what they'd done to her at Demon's Run stopped her having kids. Not that you'd notice from the complete lack of health problems or marital angst in between, but you know.

Nope. Remember how the one Dalek just sat there and had potshots taken at it by the Cybermen. And nothing happened. They could have walked through them like a hot knife through butter.

But they needed the touch of a time traveler LOL PLOT, so they had a plan.

I haven't watched the episode, so no I can't elaborate.

Presumably, however, there's at least a fraction of a second between the time that the place was destroyed, and the time that what's-her-face made the Daleks forget (which in and of itself is fucking retarded).

Fraction of a second, Time Lord. Do the math.
And this is why I hate her.

Just saw it, didn't like it. The plot was meh and the drama in-between was idiotic.

I'm tired of this bullshit "I gave you up because I love you " writing tactic. It's a quick, lazy way to build up angst but not have anyone be unlikable as is often the case when people split up. Amy's actions make no sense. She's going to dump the guy that waited 2,000 years because she can't have kids? Haven't they heard of adoption? Surrogates? Haven't they heard of asking the Doctor? In the great wide universe there must be some fucking solution. It's meant to be selfless, but it just comes off as cowardly and weak. She doesn't even appear willing to discuss the issue really.

I'm not even going to go into the "waiting outside a box" and dumping your boyfriend comparison. Really Amy? Really?

I hate the new Oswin. I hated the Mary Sue-ish amazing techno-hack skills. The only thing that saves it is that it makes sense in context, now we'll have to see what she's like (apparently she's the new companion?) in general but her bubbly personality is already getting on my nerves.

Agreed on teh Amy/Rory conflict, it's a bit contrived. As for Oswin... eh. To be honest this is the first time we've seen her. Supposedly this will be all we see of her until/after the Christmas Special. We've got Amy and Rory for another 5 eps apparently? And she is supposed to be kind of mary Sue after all she's a Dalek that thought she was just a human trapped on the planet. So for all of her "hacking" and making souflles were just in her head. I do have to laugh at whoever chained up the Daleks. Its hilarious.

Loved it. Loved it so much it hurt.

Ok, there was some stunningly obvious foreshadowing during the Doctor and Amy's conversation, and it was very convenient that the first time Rory's dad meets the Doctor is when they need people from the same genepool. Everything else though? Enormous, ridiculously good fun.

I haven't read the entire thread but the few pages that I have, have Inquisition always somehow hating on the show. I don't know man, maybe everything that you find fault with it is right but damn why do you keep watching something that seems to always piss you off. If it doesn't entertain you, would it not be better to not watch it?

Am not trying to bash you. Its just that your comment to Shinysavage is simply you but instead of liking every episode you hate it

Overthinking this show is the easiest way to start disliking it.

    Today's episode was incredibly fun.

Meh, I didn't like tonight's episode. I usually don't like historical episodes, and this one with dinosaurs was no exception, although Nefertiti was really cool.

After hearing its supposedly awesome premise I was worried that it will be a very weak episode, but it was rather decent. And I really liked Rory's dad.

Also, when the Doctor learned who he is, he greeted him by his name even though nobody told him it. A mistake or a clue?

They would have met at the wedding. Unless that was retconned out.

Since Rory's dad has no clue who the Doctor is, I assume that for some reason he wasn't present at the wedding.

Could we count it as just Rory and/or Amy having told the Doctor about him, you know in those quiet moments when they are not saving the Universe.

I've really disliked Chris Chibnall's writing up until this point. '42', 'The Hungry Earth', and 'Cold Blood', are just so... joyless. Not at all what filler episodes are supposed to be.

This was much MUCH better. Unlike his previous eps, he actually managed to make the pseudo-companions interesting.

Why the fuck could the scanning device not find the Doctor? He's dead not non-existent. Or is everyone linked up to the Daleks network of stupidity? I mean, Filch clearly knows who he is, it's not like he's inconspicuous no?
