Yes, we Scottish women are definitely renown for our nagging and a whining. Much like Canadian inbred rejects like yourself are known for your...oh wait, what is Canada known for? I could say its inbreeding and stupidity, but that'd be redundant. Oh well...

I understand you don't like to be criticised, your ego complex is well known (and yes, before you say it, I know mine is as well), but next time someone disagrees with you, you may want to either accept it and move on, or disagree with what is commonly referred to as reason and logic. Rather than resort to pathetic insults to hide your inability to string two coherent thoughts in a line.

I don't give a flying fuck why you started writing your ridiculous little rants (calling them reviews is somewhat over egging the pudding). You're more than welcome to spew whatever bullshit, idiotic nonsense you want. But it'd be nice if you, when posting about a tv series, appeared to have actually have watched it, or even better paid attention whilst watching it. Rather than what it currently appears, which is that you may on occasion have seen bits of episodes, and have read some summaries along the way.

Please don't take this as a comment reserved solely for your most recent 'review', it applies equally to the all. One could read them all (as I recently did) and very reasonably come to the conclusion that, as I've said here, you haven't actually seen most of what you're talking about.

I could finish this by suggesting you return to your igloo (my god...there are stereotypes about Canadians), but instead I'll just suggest you sit down and watch Doctor Who. It appears to be a subject you're interested in, and I think you would benefit from watching the series before passing further comment on it.

I just love the fact that both of you are so heavily invested in a pretty poor TV show as to descend to an argument this petty about just which is the worst bit.

For once, I'd have liked the characters to have a normal, happy ending. No need to highlight how much they love each other for the cheap emotional rollercoaster it's meant to put you on. I'd have been just as moved if The Doctor saw them away, Amy being pregnant is optional, with him saying to Brian "This time, I did it". Moffat fucked me over royally with this.

I don't dislike Amy or Rory as much as people on here seem to. The writing on it is pretty bad, but for the most part, they are likeable characters and played by good actors.

Honestly, apart from Martha who, y'know, is already black, something they've played up in the new Era is that travelling with the Doctor is really fucking dangerous. Which I like. That one episode of SJA that broached just what happened to all the old companions who just parted ways with The Doctor was way more depressing than any of the 'deaths' of his companions.

Not really. Martha and Mickey became some sort of Mercs for hire, or UNIT agents, Rose is happy with her "Doctor" and her family, Sarah Jane is with her son, Donna is happy, even if she's mind wiped. They aren't perfect endings, but just once it would have been nice to see a bit of ordinary in the endings for the companions.

Amy getting pregnant and deciding with Rory that this time they should stay away from time traveling and rise their kid normally would be a really great way to send Ponds away. No needless drama and the Doctor may visit them off screen or for the Christmas Specials, but for his normal adventures he would get a new companion.

By the way, what are the chance that the Angels undone whatever prevented Amy from having children and Ponds have more descendant than just River. One of them could be Oswin. :p

I'm still confused, since the Angel's are destroyed for the most part, the Ponds can leave the hotel, right? They don't have to die in the Hotel, correct? Well, Rory doesn't..

I don't think they will even reappear at the hotel. The last Angel just randomly zapped them in time and space like these from Blink were doing.

They might have ended up in the same time zone but not the hotel.

I read it as the Paradox having been wiped from the timeline, since what caused it was Rory being unable to be in the hotel (due to death). Of course that raises its own problems. Wibbly Wobbly, Timey Wimey.

    Hmm..

Another thing that annoyed me; Moffat said that Amy and Rory's departure would be final. This isn't very final. We don't know where they are, what they done, or where they go.

Also, how could River give Amy the book but can't tell them "Go here, The Doctor will be here at this date and time, every year", though I believe someone already said this.

This is a seriously sloppy end for these characters.

Oh, and I forgot: that Weeping Angel Statue of Liberty was idiotic. What? That was completely pointless and just raises a whole bunch of questions (What about pictures -the image of an angel an all that).

They indicated something about turning other statues into angles, so maybe it was turned sometime during the erased timeline?

Also raises the question of how nobody noticed the Statue of Liberty walking around Manhattan.

At the start of the episode, weren't people around that hotel staring out their windows at the statues? I think a lot of them 'did' notice.

But yeah, tons of holes in this episode. It should have been a fun episode and not an episode where so many important things happen.

Important plot events = ripping apart plot holes.

That scene should have been bloody well shot. That was extremely emotional, just from the storyboards. I would have loved to have seen that. It clears up a lot

I'm pretty sure I enjoyed that scene a lot more than the episode itself.

There is no reason that shouldn't have been filmed. And considering how much I enjoyed just the storyboard's there's no telling how gratifying it would've been to actually see it with the characters.
