The based anime lord is on top, this is the only time Dota has made sense since MLG

I feel bad for DK because Lanm being ill is obviously hurting them, but I've got a $20 bet EG goes further than them so I'm kind of okay with it.

Spare us the ee fanboying plz... C9 will go as far as singsing can carry his noob ass, and no further.

I'd say their defining, game winning feature is their extremely greedy supports, where Sing and EE create mid-game space for Aui to farm big items, which is shown in how C9 has the highest overall team GPM (while Hao has the highest individual).
They'll go as far as the other teams will let them without punishing them early, which isn't easy because each individual player is extremely flexible in their laning.

I'm just happy Na'Vi.EU is still in the running for top 8, I don't expect much higher than that. Also pleasantly surprised by Na'Vi.US, who'd have seen that coming.

Oh and last years' champions might not even make it to main stage. Shit is weird.

    No mercy for EE?

That's ok, EE has no mercy for you.

Alliance's losses are to DK, NB, and iG, who were considered favorites for top 3 coming in. They will be fine. Similarly, NAR has yet to play some of their toughest games, although TL is apparently legit and the win over Fnatic is impressive, so that could go either way too.

KaiDASH, have a classic example of EE's "mercy" :p

In fact, have another one from the same game.

Im surprised with Liquid. They are playing balls out. I cant believe they beat Newbee and DK. Still hoping for EG vs NaviEU grand finals though.

Played my first game of Dota 2 today. Was a very bizarre experience.

This was the first time I ever needed a Steam account, too.

There is a noob stream for TI that was pretty good from the little I watched it yesterday if you are interested by the way. Games start in 1 hour.

This is true, but still, the must of lost some confidence after their start on day 1. Still expect them in the top 8 though.

Both Navi teams have surprised me, I was half expecting Navi.eu to just drop out of this years TI, but considering that past that's always been a foolish expectation.

Liquid is definitely something no one saw coming though, basically no results anywhere, then they're suddenly beating everyone!?

Day 2 of this is going to be fun. :D 20 mins to go!

Edit: I've redone my sleep schedule for this shit, go to sleep at 6-7, wake up at 2-3am. I think I finally understand what others feel when they watch sports. Like the soccer world cup. Maybe I should look into that, people may be onto something with that one. :p

NAR hasn't convinced me yet, but Liquid is legit. If you haven't watched it yet, I recommend this interview with Demon where he talks about their bootcamp. Redbull went all out for it, including stuff like group therapy for the team to work out any issues. Clearly paid off.

As I type this, Demon just gave up first blood vs LGD. :p

But yeah, Liquid are really impressing me this tourney. NAR... meh. Mousesports, meh.

I'll def watch that interview though, cheers for the link.

    TL got wrecked by LGD.

But damn, the naga from Navi.US beat IG. It was a great defensive effort from IG that almost let them win.

Never bet rares on C9. That's a sucker's bet every time.

How the fuck did NAR beat iG though? That is not supposed to happen.

Well, day 2 has been making more sense. Still, no fucking clue who will win. Everyone has proven they can beat everyone else.

    Except Arrow maybe. Poor Arrow.

    They failed their city.

DS + Carry Shaker + Naga against a deathball lineup that lacks anti-illusion? You have to play so much better than the naga team to win that kind of game.
