Least Arrow have one win unlike MUFC last year. I got high hopes for EG hoping for top 3. Hopefully Navi.EU can pick it up and get into the winners bracket also.

 

DK lost their 8-1 streak against Titan and Burning 8-1 record on Naga in 6.81.

 

Yea that Burning naga though... 2 deaths, loses boots on courier, buys aquila, team is down two T2 towers, and he still farms a 14 minute relic. Unbelievable.

 

Yup, team was getting completely destroyed, but B-God almost brought the game back. Unfortunately Pugna's life drain 1 shotted his illusions and Razor's aghs refresher ult worked through Naga sleep.

Just bad draft overall from DK in that game.

 

Goodbye Alliance, may rat dota die forever.

 

I never really cheered for alliance, but I feel really sorry for them with this result. :/

 

After watching that [A] vs NaVi game, I can't feel anything but happy that Alliance is out. That game was excruciating to watch. Fuck rat dota.

I am really hyped for TL vs LGD round 2 though. That series should be great.

 

If you haven't watched it yet, the game that ended up knocking Alliance out of tournament is absolutely beautiful. EG's draft was amazing and apart from some early misreads their decision making was ridiculously good.

You'll also get to see one of TobiWan's infamous Black Hole-gasms.

 

You should've seen Alliance v. EG. EG almost got ratted and lose. I hope TL can make it through since TL got screwed hard by the statistical tiebreakers...

 

Yeah that Alliance vs EG game was awesome!

 

I missed it. going to go back and catch it later probably, if only to see the omni in action.

Liquid is going to need some magic to pull this series out. LGD looking really good.

That was a disappointing series. Not sure why TL stopped picking Demon his playmakers.

 

TL loses a chance at 500k because of statistical tiebreakers. C9 took game 1 convincingly with meepo.

 

To be fair, Team Liquid also played like garbage in the two games against LGD.

 

Man, those C9 games were awesome to watch. Convincing games vs LGD and game 1 vs DK. However, as SingSing said in an interview with CyborgMatt, those games will be won or lost during the drafting stage.

Game 2 was a perfect example of this.

 

Sing played incredibly well vs LGD. Carried games 1 and 3 hard. Someone needs to start a support group for mid players whose backs are breaking under the strain of carrying their teams. Founding members: sing, ddz, Air, s4, resolution, and 430, with Rel1c as an honorary member.

 

Aui is usually the best player on C9 though, most of their gameplay is about dodging engagements and getting favourable trades, which wouldn't be possible without Aui's crazy gamesense. Second only to Burning I think.
Sing is probably the most consistent player on the team and is great at creating space for their insanely greedy drafts, but you really don't give the rest of the team nearly enough credit.

 

I think it's very obvious that bone7 is the worst player on c9. Sing plays reasonably safe, but I don't think he's the best. Generally if Aui and EE play well, that team wins.
