Now I'm being honest here. Who the hell wouldn't want to be Goku in a real-life action film? That's just a chance you can't pass up, even if you think DB(Z) is something for kids.

 

Let the epic lulz commence!

God, this is going to be so mind-bogglingly horrifying I might have to see it. Still, I don't think anything can beat La Blue Girl for worst live action movie.

 

I am going to go see it, even though I already know it will suck major ass.

 

This is basically my childhood in a 2 hour nutshell. This could turn in to EPIC-FAIL->EPIC WIN

If the words "over nine thousand" are not thrown in, I declare this movie auto-fail.

Best line ever

 

Pfft. 20th Century Fox is years behind classic chinese comedy/action movies. I've got a a tape of a DragonBall(Z) movie acted by real people and since this was made back in the days where special effects were either hard to produce or hilariously gaudy the fighting in this was mostly martial arts based stuff, with the crazy beams of light here and there. If memory recalls it was based off the Garlic Jr. saga since I do recall a "zombified" city or people who were returned to normalcry when the villain exploded due to the combining of the 7 dragonballs inside his stomach and the DBZ crew wished for the place to return to normal.

Oh and Master Roshi wears a real turtleshell on his back in the movie. Gone are the days when awesome props like that can be used as opposed to a spiritually lacking plastic shell.

LOL.... I see this turning out like the end of the Third Matrix Movie. Many lawlz, much fail.

 

In 1999 and 2000, they were trying to get it made by 2003-04. I was such a DBZ fan back then, and I was so disappointed when nothing happened.

Wow, DBZ was my entire middle school life. I came home, put on Toonami and watched DBZ. It didn't matter if you were the kid who said all anime was gay, you watched DBZ.

This movie will be.....a massive failure, but that doesn't mean I won't go see it. I will wait in line for tickets. I just can't imagine what in the hell they are going to do with the hair styles.

 

The Ozone above Hollywood will be destroyed by the massive amount of hairspray that will go into this production.

 

If its good then it will be like the Matrix. First One will be good, Second will be -2 and third will be -1000000000000000000000000. Just wish they would do one with Majin Buu or Freeza instead of Piccilo.
