I don't think Jibril is faking. Also, Jibril was backpeddling on me being scum to begin with. Castiel - you know I was tainted, and then checked. That was my whole fucking point, and if you're not capable of reading enough to understand that, then by all means run all over me. It's just playing in to what scum wants. Why would they bother targeting me when they know you're just gonna kill me today. In fact, I'm relatively certain that at least one of the scum elements is playing it out in exactly that way.

Alright, well, I'm willing to change my mind. But I don't want to miss out on a lynch in case I don't log back in and remember to check the thread.

    Lynch: Zennith

Just don't see any reason not to at this point, except for his claims, which he has done a poor job of convincing me are true.

There's no convincing. I told you all what happened, but I can't force you to believe me. Either way, once I'm dead Jibril will be too, and that'll be it.

Well, it's this holier-than-thou butthurt attitude that isn't helping a ton. It seems like you're scum who is trying to QQ to the point that everyone is scared to lynch you. Rather than you genuinely having the best interests of the town at heart.

    Sorry if that's too blunt.

Since I can't help but meta on this I suppose I should say that Zennith plays exactly the same way every single game, and he always looks scummy for it. So based only on that I'm wary about my first assumptions.

Really I just get annoyed at the players who make snap judgments and then refuse to reconsider no matter what. That's just as bad of a way to play, and it is damn common.

---------- Post automerged at 02:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:43 PM ----------

Also, maybe I do get too defensive, but that's because I truly believe that my interests are one with the town's, and the longer I'm alive, the longer Jibril will be alive. Man, it would have been nice to have a check last night.

Okay, let's play hypotheticals and pretend you're not scum.

Who's scum from where you're standing? Who's town? What do you think of each player? Who do YOU think we should lynch today, if not you?

Your snap defence is just as bad as other peoples' judgements for making people believe you're innocent. Try stepping back from the thread for a bit before replying; being annoyed can also come off as panicking, which is a pretty good way to search for scum.

Alright, I hope I only have to say this once. I am instituting a 2 post per day phase rule. Hence if I don't see two posts per day cycle per player, that player will suffer repercussions.

Flavour is called flavour because it adds nothing relevant to the actual game. I wouldn't base anything on what is or isn't written there.

And we still don't know who was visited last night. Or was no one visited at all?

Thanks for reminding me about this.

I think everyone has checked in and since no one said they were visited in the night either WK did not use his power (unlikely) or the one who was visited died.

    Bill Door died.

    Jus' sayin'.

And I am off to sleep for now.

Reading back through the thread, I'm less inclined to believe Zennith's claim again. He may be derp town again, but I'm thinking weight of evidence is putting him in the scum category.

Rents is pinging on my scumdar too, despite his low number of posts.

Sesc has pinged once, but only because he pulled the 'scum can't be this stupid' card, which I reflexively see as a scumtell. Yes, scum can and have been that stupid before.

Otherwise I'm mostly working blind. I'm going to say we should lynch Zennith. There's a chance he could be Dresden, but also a decent chance he's scum. Adding on to that the fact that he's taking up all the discussion when we could be focusing on finding the other three scum.

Honestly, Zennith, I'm not sure what you expect us to do. Is there any way we can be sure you are not scum? I can't see one, and I haven't seen you proposing one either.

Getting butthurt for town following a perfectly rational strategy is stupid, especially since you haven't exactly been the towniest player since Day 1 itself (I'll grant Aekiel's point that you play the same way every time, but that doesn't help other players judge you, so it's still hardly okay).

Plus, as Castiel said, nobody's claimed the check, which makes it overwhelmingly likely Bill Door was thralled/killed.

Zennith has 5 votes to lynch: Rubicon, Castiel, Aekiel, Moridin.

Please remember the voting format. Also, if we reach lynch early again, I will again allow twilight until Night 3 starts.

Still want those reads, Zennith. If your interests are with the town, you should want to give us as much information as possible.

We can't keep letting Zennith go on the off chance he's Dresden. His reasons for everything have been /just/ on the wrong side of reasonable every time he's had to defend himself, and while I'm afraid of getting Dresden too, if Zennith is the White King (or the Red Queen, for that matter, although I think the potential for damage is probably slightly worse with the whites simply because it isn't notable) he can wreak havoc as long as we're keeping him around out of fear.

Ah shit, I just woke up, didn't check this before going out last night. I know it's too late to say this, but at this point I feel it's not very likely Zennith is scum. That said, Rubicon look the wors tto me.

I wasn't visited last night either, so my guess is that whoever actually was visited by the White King is the Red King (wouldn't the Willing Red Thingy die if it was hit?) and so they don't want to come forward? it's the best explanation I see unless someone else hasn't checked in yet.
