Pretty good stuff, really. I don't like it as much as Song of the Trees, but then "Slightly less than one of the best fanfic I've ever read" isn't bad, per say.

I couldn't care less about James, really, but I like what you've done with Harry and Hermione. I like that they're pushed around by Jack and the other pirates. Without their magic, they're just a couple of teenagers in a place and time they don't belong. Harry's a damn resourceful kid, but what could he possibly do against one of the cagiest pirates of the Caribbean?

I'm looking forward to James and Jack's reunion. It should be... fun.

 

I'm going to go off topic here and suggest a theory....tinn and shezza are in cahoots with each other on the whole gender reversal thing: when someone asks for proof of their gender they just email the other for a pic and everyone's fooled...it's the perfect plan...almost.

@Tinn: I like the story so far and agree that Hermione can be of further use.. like nutritional substance if they ever get stuck on an Island again.

 

Why should they be worried about being stuck on an island again? They're sailing with Captain Jack Sparrow, which mean in a few more days, they'll learn to ride sea turtles!
