Hi,

i'm looking for a crossover that transports Dumbledore to a new setting, while keeping him in character.

His dialog is hilarious, especially because he doesnt act like he's out of his dept even when he clearly is (and says so), but HP fics usually focus on the bigger picture, his family or "the greater Good" drama. So a crossover it is.
Or it's nonsensical romance. Albus D./Luna L. Wtf

The only thing I found so far is a twilight crossover where Alice meets Dumbledore and the Cullens discover the wonders of blood lolipop.

 

Are you looking for a specific fic that you've read in the past and forgotten the name of, or just laying down general criteria and hoping such a story exists?

If the latter, I know of none that meet your requirements.

I would be, but how do you stop it from quickly becoming boring? Albus Dumbledore's character is already very well developed. Where's the character growth going to come from?

The conflict would (presumably) come from a clash of philosophies. Dumbledore's "Thou shalt not kill" in a war-driven World would be a major headache for everyone.
And no matter how much he might wish for it, he can't convince everyone (as demonstrated by all the Deatheaters breaking out of Azkaban all the time).
