Once thing i tend to think about alot it Dumbledore for minister. In all the books its seems that dumbledore doesnt wasnt control of the government. He doesnt want to be in such a position of power (even though hes already practically the most influencial guy in wizarding britain). But yet.... He has a special organization devoted to the protection of wizarding society, and the end of voldemort. Though many of you hate him i hink we can all admit he is one hell of a smart man. I fail to see why a smart man would not want to kick out a crappy minister whos leading the world down a path of destruction and chaos. And i fail to see why he wouldnt want to step up and temporarily solve the problem and act as minister until he gets shit under control again. It seems odd to me that someone so dedicated to the betterment of society would let it crumble...

And then! Assuming someone uses dumbledore as a manipulative old fart, or evil... Why wouldnt he want control of the government, espeically when obtaining it would be a piece of cake?

I know they got a new minister in book 6, but many people dont ever even write assuming book 6 was written cuase it sucked so bad, so technically for all of us writers fudge STILL is in office.

Cazten, read the description under the forums. Guess what belongs under Harry Potter books? I'll give you a pat on the head if you get the right answer.

Dumbledore doesnt want to leave Hogwarts. He'd rather be the headmaster and gain trust, allies, and all that shit in the student body than run the country. When the students get older who are they going to listen too? Dumbledore most of the time.

    > I dont admit he's smart, I assert that Wizard's in Britain are mindless clockworking sheep.

    > Being Minister would throw him into the public light even more so then he is, including the illegal vigilantes.

    >It would affirm claims he wants dominion over Britain, which would give his opponents good ammo for recruitment and possible backlash against him.

He has a sweet situation as it is.

    > Mindless, enrapted soldiers. ( Nazi's anyone? Meth'd up soldiers devoted to Germany? )

    > A majority of the population see's him as a Benevolent (powerful) Grandfather.

    > Probably loads of free shit, and help with studying rare things.

    > Easily able to study said things and knock off his partner once done.

He is a smart man. Think about it. If Dumbledore became minister not only will he have to deal with all that Xiph0 mentioned but all the red tape as well. Who in their right mind would want all that crock.
