How would the entire HBP and the DH universe change if Albus Dumbledore's animated statue is a second late in intercepting Voldemort's AK in the ministry atrium in OOTP???

Harry would die, Dumbledore would kill Voldemort in the following duel, but Voldemort would return very quickly, now it was established to his followers that he cannot die.

With lack of evidence of Voldemort's existence, the Ministry doesn't come around to Dumbledore's views. It falls even quicker than canon, and Dumbledore dies sooner or later, leaving Voldemort without peers to contest him.

Horcrux, Harry would return to life regardless and since it takes a while, the end result would have been most everyone assuming Harry dead and a select few, most likely the OotP, harboring his secret. Voldemort would most likely have died due to Dumbledore going apeshit, however his followers would've had a difficult time bringing him back without the oh-so-important blood of the enemy. Although I don't know the constraints of the ritual on that aspect.

Harry would rise from the dead as the Could've-Been-King with his army of Meanwhiles and Neverweres in order to cast Voldemort into the jaws of the Nightmare Child.

    Doing reruns before 7th season?

Also, chances are Harry would survive or there would be two Voldemorts running around.

Harry wouldn't come back. It takes more than just being hit with a Killing Curse to engineer his resurrection. Have some Word of God.

From her old website. You have to use the Wayback Machine to view it.

Anyway, basically Harry wouldn't be resurrected again even if the same circumstances were replicated exactly. So there's no chance it'd happen under completely different circumstances. In the Atrium in OotP Harry a) isn't sacrificing himself willingly b) isn't the master of the wand Voldemort is using.

Meh. But I still like the idea of two Voldemorts. It would be even more interesting if they don't work together and Horcruxmort is stuck in Harry's slowly rotting away body. I can see him temporary joining forces with Albus, especially if as Horcrux he isn't immortal as the original is, in exchange for helping him in getting a new body.

And any interactions he has with other characters would be really intense given how he looks.

Dumbledore would reduce Harrymort to ash as soon as it became obvious Harry was not coming back anymore. Like fuck Dumbledore is going to let some shade control the body of the boy he loves more than any other.

We also need to consider the fact that during the duel in the graveyard, Harry's holly and phoenix feather wand bested it's brother. Hence, Harry is the master of Voldemort's Yew wand. While Voldemort can use his yew wand, it's allegiance is towards the master of it's brother wand
    Now,

Blood protection+Allegiance of the yew wand=A repeat of theKings Cross, except there would be no Dumbledore to greet him.

Sirius or his parents can take up the mantle of course. Since Voldemort carries Harry's blood, in extension, has the power of blood protection flowing through his veins, he too will be affected, just like he was in the forest.

Then, it's a walk in the park for Dumbledore to imprison a clearly unconcious Voldemort.

... Didn't you read the quote Taure had in his post? It's not some mathematical equation you can just substitute similar values into to get the same result. There were far to many things going into that one moment in DH for the half-baked situation you just proposed to compare.

Only the Elder Wand is completely disloyal.

Normal wands don't transfer their allegiance so readily.

Yeah!!! While the concept of Harry surviving initially had a lot of potential, I am not so sure now.

There is a 50% chance he would survive of course. A good writer can spin the tale if Harry survives the AK and I am not one.

If anyone is interested in using this plot bunny, feel free to do so...........:)

As for Taure's statement that normal wands don't transfer their allegiance easily, one must note that Harry Potter didn't disarm Draco Malfoy. He wrestles Draco's wand in a 'muggle' fashion if my memory serves me well.

Draco's hawthorn wand changed it's allegiance to Harry, didn't it???

Harry's disarming Malfoy of his Hawthorn wand transferred the allegiance of the Elder wand from Malfoy to Harry. Anything with the Hawthorn wand is separate from that.

As Ollivander said, Harry's defeat of Malfoy definitely played a part in his ability to use Malfoy's wand. However, I don't think it completely transferred - it would still suit Malfoy. It didn't abandon its old master. It just recognised a new one as well.

Remember that bit about, "the wand chooses the wizard", it may have just been something of the sort, just like the lack of reliability in the final battle I'm of the opinion that the same applies to how wands and wizards interact, while it's possible that the wand would have changed it's allegiance, it's just as likely that no such thing happened.

Taure I accept your point on the situation in the atrium, since you did in face provide the word of god, however in so far as a I know, there is no such statement on wands. Unless you have that stashed away somewhere too.

Taure's post makes the most sense regardless of whether or not he has the word of god at his disposal. If another wizard/witch could use someone else's wand after disarming them than "The wand chooses the wizard Mr. Potter" is a moot point. And, something so important as this bit of wandlore would be widely known.

In my opinion, at that point, Harry's death would fulfill the prophecy, leaving Dumbledore free to vanquish the shit out of Voldemort. At that point, he can hunt down the horcruxes and whatever the fuck else.

Yeah but Voldemort is THE dark lord for a reason. He fucks shit up, he's the reason families that have been around for centuries are wiped out, he eats babies and he does it with style. Dumbledore is fucking beast, but what would really happen is what happened in Denarian lord. Bunch of kiddies taken hostage so on and so forth without a supercharged Harry stopping by to save the day. Tom's ruthless, powerful and has an incredibly sharp mind to back it up.
