I still have it installed, although it needs an update. I'll try it if nobody else wants to.

If you got into a previous test I'm pretty sure you are eligible for this test.

I am not the biggest fan of the game but this trailer looks delicious. Makes me wonder if the money wouldn´t be better spend making a truly unique movie with that quality instead of yet another MMO.

Also, if you were in the last beta weekend, you get to keep your characters you created last time. Since you have to be level 10 to enter Cyrodil, this will be great for being able to join pvp sooner.

If you haven't got an invite or signed up for the beta and want a beta key, I read on the beta forum that Curse got 500k keys to give away. Check them out if your interested. The beta is a great opportunity to get some hands-on gameplay to decide if you want to preorder online to get the preorder bonuses.

Forgot that this was a closed beta for a sec, my bad, thanks for the heads up about the Curse website.

Btw I have to ask; I know that the game won't be f2p but do we have to purchase the game anyway with the usual subscription or will we be able to download the game from the official site?

Oakes, you will have to buy the game, and then pay a subscription.

You have to both purchase the game and pay the subscription. When purchasing the game, you get the first month free. You can purchase the game on the official site, as well as a number of retailers. The standard edition (hard copy and digital) will cost $60, the digital collector's edition will cost $80, and the hard copy collector's edition will cost $100. The subscription cost will be $15 a month. You can also purchase the standard edition and then upgrade to the digital collector's edition later for $20 after you've begun playing the game if you like. If you preorder the game, you get 5 days early access, are able to play any race in any alliance (normally each alliance has 3 races hard locked to it), a vanity pet, and a few treasure maps.

The digital collectors edition comes with an in game mount, vanity pet, a set of rings that boosts experience when playing with a partner, and the ability to play as an Imperial in any alliance. The hard copy of the collectors edition has everything the digital version has plus a few real life trinkets like a statue of molag bal, a map of tamriel, and a book of artwork and lore.

Sorry about the massive info dump, but I wasn't sure how up to date you were on ESO news. I am personally planning to preorder the digital collectors edition. Since I am the type of person who likes to play a single game for large periods of time and have already experienced the quality of the game by being in a few beta sessions already, I feel ok having to purchase the game and pay the subscription fee.

The digital collector's edition is $60 on Greenmangaming.com, which is an incredible deal, U-Play is bundling the digital collector's edition with AC4 and the standard with AC3 but you only get 5 days early access with the digital standard edition if you buy it directly from Bethesda.

And it hardly even matters anyway, because it's going to go free-to-play in under six months.

I am with Lord Raine on this one... In 6-9 months the game will be f2p, run much smother and have more content so I don´t see any reason to invest that much money in it now.
