Hell yeah! The Reanimate spell effect is more readily available than in Oblivion, presumably through allying with necromancers. They did say there was no 'Necromancer's Guild' per se, but who knows about smaller alliances? :awesome

I'm not really sure how to feel about the video, though. I mean, every time I think about it, I just keep envisioning... "The forces of life and death are mine to command, the reaper himself flees before me! Thou Shalt Live Again, Mr.Cluckers!"

My laptop preemptively crashed in fear.

    To quote someone:
"The chick from the 11 minute video is as dumb as a fence post"

Do these people even know what they're talking about?

I doubt it. They've debated the possible appearance of things that were confirmed months ago, particularly calling your dragon ally.

    Also, post 444.

Hey, at least it wasn't Todd "DRAGONSDRAGONSDRAGONSDRAGONS" Howard.

Also, what happens if you cast the necromancy rez spell on a chicken that's already been prepared for cooking? Like, one you'd find next to a cooking fire. o_O

I'm more partial to the 'kill your child in their sleep, equip them with a butcher knife, then resurrect for lulz' camp, myself.

Was that letter sealed with wax? Extra authenticity ftw.

I can just imagine the little girl frustratingly waiting for a turn as her dad keeps on hogging the controller. "No, childe. The Grand Champion of the Cyrodil Arena must slay these foul beasts! Your time will come... later. Have you done your homework?"

    "Daaaaaaaaaaaad!"

Hmm. You're posting on DLP, so you have the internet. If you're playing a brand new Elder Scrolls game then you're going to require frequent internet access to download patches anyway. And if you're going to spend a month or so without the net, just run Steam in offline mode. It worked for me while I was away last year.

Unless the problem is that you object to installing Steam at all, in which case... *shrug* Your loss.

I really don't get the rage at steam... I love having access to my games even if I lose the cd.

It's become the quick way for me to start up all the games I have, so I'm not complaining. Plus it's easier than browsing the web for stuff, automatically updates and has fuck awesome sales on all the time.

Actually, for whatever reason, when I lost my internet for a month or so I couldn't get into Steam's offline mode.

...Because I was offline. Go figure.
