I'll be playing a Nord Barbarian. Bow and arrows, one-hand ax, shield, and as big and burly as I can get him. I hope they have other options for armor, as a Barbarian in Glass armor for top tier sounds...silly.

The very next piece of dialogue: "To proceed with this quest, please buy the 'Wild Werewolf' DLC pack."

I'd normally start with a Dark Elf but playing with any other character than a Nord would seem silly at this point.

Nord swordsman who likes to conjure things. Lots of things. Nasty nasty things.

Yeah, I'm going to start out with a Nord for the vanilla playthrough. I'll pick the others later, but I'd probably go with either a Dunmer or an Imperial, just cause I used those as my firsts in the previous games.

Breton, Nord or maybe Redguard for me, I reckon. As I said, I currently think I'll play a mage first, but we'll see, I suppose.

I'll probably start with a Breton, like I did in Oblivion. The extra 50 magicka and 50% spell resistance is nice for a spell caster. Don't really care about Dragon Skin, but it does complement the whole "dragonborne" thing.

I'm going to be furious if they have little bits of the DLC content already in-game like that. Full fledged, Styx-gonna-start-stabbing-bitches furious. That said, it's been confirmed that their are no werewolves in the main game due to time restraints, but DLC or expansions are a possibility.

I usually start off as a Dark Elf, but this time I think I'll go with either a Nord warrior or a Breton mage. I'll have a theif/assassian at some point, but I'm not sure what race yet.

Seen this. Pure awesome. There's a sort of developer diary thing over on the official site as well.

EDIT - Racial bonus information is out to an extent, mainly for Argonians, Bosmer and Bretons. Breton bonuses make me very happy, sure I'll play one first time now.

I literally just tried my first Breton build in Oblivion and it's a pile of shit.

I'm going to have to name by Altmer Hugo 'cause he will be such a boss.

    Seriously, flamethrower. Flamethrower magic everywhere,

Depends on how you run them. They're decent spellslingers, but they aren't good for much else. At least, that was how it was in Morrowind. To be honest, I never tried a Breton build in Oblivion.

My "main" character is usually a native of the land where the game takes place, so I'll probably start out with a Nord warrior-type.

Either a Breton or a Nord; I went with Breton in Oblivion, and it worked pretty well, although it's not the most interesting race. The Nord would be for the chance to play as a dragon slaying, soul eating Viking. Because really, how can you go wrong with that?

I tried to build it as a sword/spell fighter and it just... does not work for that, even with custom spells and enchantments.

Pretty much this. Nord swordsman/axeman with a few handy spells.

Had a few thousand word post worked out, then I lost it and for some reason Lazarus won't help. Regardless, Nord wins, not because of Attributes. Because DOVAHKINN.
