    I'm playing everything on Ultra with a mid-end rig ;_;

Hope you're not one of those people who complain about graphics quality and cry if they don't get the highest possible settings.

That baby's head was particularly crimson under the conditions that the picture was taken. Looks like it's going to explode or something >_>

Been messing around with it in 30 minute bursts. The opening is epic. However it feels WAY too much like bad console port. Absolute SHIT inventory and character management. My hot keying stuff in the favorites menu keeps not working right, the FOV even when tweaked feels just off, etc.

This sums up my exact feelings on these fucking menus. I couldnt figure out why the hell people were telling me I looked sick. Turns out I have Rockjoint. Don't know when, but I picked it up from some wolves. No status effect on screen, no icon, no shit to let me know I have something wrong with me, what the hell???? I had to google to see why folks were saying I looked sick, google how to see if I had an active effect on me. Really?

This review is how I feel about the map and most other stuff.

What I don't get is, after thousands of hours of playtesting, not a single person high up played the game and said.. yeah we're not really showing the player anything, and we're making it hard as hell to actually navigate the menus.

I really wanna see a active effects on the hud mod soon. At least for diseases and spells that have a timer.... Popping out of invisibility while in the middle of a enemy army=bad.

Another thing that's really bizarre about how they handle diseases specifically is that they don't seem to actually inform you that you've contracted something. When you pick up Rockjoint or whatever, it should appear onscreen the second it happens.

I do really enjoy this game, but it is far from flawless, and some really obvious things were overlooked.

I had rockjoint; I think it did actually inform me that I caught it, but it wasn't particularly obvious about it. Certainly it's easy to not see those sort of things during combat when you're distracted.

    There are diseases? :p

I'm level 24 and I have yet to contract (or at least notice contracting) a disease.

Yeah, it does tell you when you get a disease- in small white writing in the top left of your screen. Quite difficult to notice in battle.

Oh. Well, that's good. I'll just need to...pay attention to this odd corner of the screen while fighting things. I guess. It would make more sense if they threw it by your healthbar, but eh, it's better than nothing I guess.

I just wait for people to start going "Oh my god, you look terrible!"

Most of the diseases that I've seen only affect melee characters much.

This is why I play the Argonian. I almost never have to worry about that shit. What diseases? What poisons?

I tend to stop by temples/altars and get a blessing every time I'm in town anyway, so getting diseased has never been a big issue.

Interface fail is still annoying though. The one black mark on an otherwise great game.

In the same vein, there's this. Also this, for the MLP fans.

    Poor kid.

I'm more worried about the fact they misspelled "Dovahkiin" in the entire article.
Luckily, it seems the parents actually named him that, and not "DovaKHiin"

On a side note, isn't that a great name to have? :awesome

So it looks like someone on the Bethesda forums has been planning out a UI redesign to make it much more PC friendly.

    http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1278538-skyrim-ui-pc-specific-redesign-no-2/

I hope they add the active magic list on the right side, even if they have to make the initial item preview area smaller. That and a way to sort books by having active quest items at the top. I have too many books on me at once, and occasionally I pick up a quest item without actually reading the name.

I'd love for a second list that you can add items too that removes them from the vendor list, getting sick of accidentally selling my shrouded gloves when I'm spaming E to sell 2 dozen enchanted iron daggers.
