I have just been creeped the fuck out.
There is a book in Skyrim called 'Cabin in the Woods' which is about a sobbing ghost in the forests around Falkreath that stalks a soldier and screams and attacks him when he confronts it.
So, I was wandering around the Falkreath forests when I heard this loooong fucking loud as hell scream in the distance.

Please tell me someone else has experienced this.

Dude, that's fucking awesome. I've spent a lot of time around Falkreath, but I've never read that book. Have to check that out.

Attack Shadowmere, with basic ice or lightning. His health regen. is so high he shouldn't die. Rubber band the triggers down, and go to sleep.

Wall of ice/lightning on Shadowmere. Fucker heals faster than it damages him.

If you have the Enchanting level, enchant four pieces of equipment with Fortify Destruction 25% too, for free spells, and remember to select the Mage Stone for 20% faster levelling.

Get it to 100 as fast as you can, if you do the quest you get for Destruction you'll be able to buy a spell called Lightning Storm which as long as your mildly intelligent about it may as well be renamed the "Push This To Win At Everything Ever Storm" spell. With my Destruction skill fortified by my clothes, a potion and a scroll I got from a mage quest I can literally atomize even Dragons in seconds, there is absolutely nothing that can stop me.

What do you mean, the quest you get for destruction? Do you get a quest when a skill hits L100?

    Woah.

I'm only a L9 Battlemage. Lmaaaao. I have Augemented Fire 1/2, so a lot of peeps die with two Fireballs.

I think I'm too low for the Dark Brotherhood right now, been looking for something to do to bump myself a few levels.

If you hit up the College of Winterhold you'll eventually get a quest to master a specific branch of magic (go gather materials, go to the teacher, etc.) that lets you use Master level spells.

Nope, also, you have to get to 100 in your chosen school.

Yeah I've only done the ones for Illusion, Destruction and Conjuration but they're all fairly awesome. Illusion has you looking for cloaked spots in the College, Conjuration has you fight a Dremora to get its heart after which you get permanent Atronachs and permanent Zombies and Destruction has you go unlock the spells at various altars which ends with three giant "Fuck You" spells.

Heh, I love my sneaky bastard character. Level 27 and my sneak skill is in the 80's with no training or artificial leveling. The rest of my leveling comes mainly from smithing and archery, though I've started doing more knife takedowns now that I have the 15x dagger damage from sneak skill. The cutscene for those is pretty cool, though it does get a bit repetitive after taking out have a fortress full of bandits with it.

The only problem is Lydia - she can't sneak to save her life (literally). She makes a nice meatshield for dragons, but I've taken to leaving her at the entrance to whatever cave/ruin/etc I come across and taking everyone out myself. I also like to use her as bait. Park her in front of a fortress, let her get seen, then shoot the bandits as they run out to attack.

Since I'm a squishy wizard my companions take the role of meat shield very seriously. I've gone through about ten of them now, since they keep getting in the way of my fireballs spells. Mostly when I'm fighting dragons. >_>

    Skyrim Online is out

Right now, it's in early alpha, but you can see other players' movement, and chat with them. Everyone's model is currently represented by a prisoner in rags.

I'd say we'll have to wait about two or so months for all the animation and armour/weapons sync. I can't wait to play in co-op with a few friends.

So, I curbstomped Alduim, took Skyrim back from the Imperials, took over the Companions, the College, the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood - what else is there to do?

Mage's College. Daedric Quests. Random quest lines dotted all about the place. Getting your arse kicked by giants.

Plenty of stuff. Sanguine's Daedric Quest is especially amusing.

I think by 'college' he meant he'd already finished the Mage's College.

Pretty much, once you get too strong the only fun thing to do is to go explore the wild. There is a lot in the game to find, and if you're high level you're dealing with the dungeons as they're meant to be played. Turn that meter up to master if you haven't already. Then go esplorin'!

Sidenote: My vote for Destruction is on leveling lightning. There's not much in the game that's weak/strong vs. Lightning, so you can deal with most things very reliably. Also, you can fuck over those pesky mages, who are always the hardest to fight imo.
