I kind of imagined Skeeter's Quick Quotes Quill to have sort of absorbed her writing style after using it for so many years, if that makes sense. If you buy one/order one/make one it would just be a straight dictation quill, but after using it and/or enchanting it to spew her specific brand of BS for so long, it started doing it on its own. So, if some random person tried to use her Quill, it would word vomit a ridiculously flowery and embellished tabloid version of whatever they intended to write. I bet a talented writer could make this hilarious.

Depending on what exact angle you're going for, the Wiki page for mythological objects might be a place of inspiration. A lot of their properties are fairly mundane for HP standards, but you could work around that. It might make sense that a few of them could grant "shortcuts" to rare abilities like the tarnhelm being able to temporarily grant the abilities of a metamorphmagus, or break the conventional laws of magic by remaining beautiful and youthful at the cost of shitty luck, spawning infinite food, make everybody love them (Aphrodite's girdle) or bring good luck/fortune to its holder without the downfalls of the methods discussed in HP.

Then of course there are cursed objects like the ones mentioned in the books, but it's (for me at least) easier to be creative about objects that do horrible shit to you.
