Odd request, but I'm looking for any decent Ender stories. More specifically any where he returns to Earth after winning the Bugger War. FFN is kind of shitty for EG with only like 50 stories.

 

I heard there are no stories because O.S. Card is suing anyone who writes one.

He is. Even though fanfiction falls under fair use.

I wrote an Ender's Game fanfiction awhile back, a one-shot parody (a legally protected class of derivative fiction) about Valentine and Peter. For my efforts, I received a "Cease and Desist" letter from someone purportedly representing Card or his publishers (I don't remember which). Since it was, you know, fanfiction and not worth the investment of a legal battle, I had the story taken down from DLP and removed it from fanfiction.net.

Incidentally, most "not-for-profit" fanfiction falls in a legal gray area: if ever put to the test, it's likely that it would be ruled illegal by most countries' intellectual property laws. While folks like JKR and Kishimoto realize that a strong fandom enhances the value of the original product and don't prosecute, that doesn't mean that it's necessarily legal or protected. Only certain, limited classes of derivative fiction have stood the test of litigation.
