I feel so bad for Jo, I am not a Jo/Zane shipper but having to pretend she is alright with Zane/Zoe is rough and the actress is doing a good job imo.

Am I the only one who gets the feeling Stark will really be back at some point? Stark said I was floating and this is Eureka it was only a matter of time before someone created something that would pull me back. That just seems like foreshadowing to me. But Im not sure where he would fit in these days unless Grant leaves which I wouldnt really complain about.

Kinda have to feel bad for Jo, everyone has found something new except her. Carter and Allison, Henry is married, Fargo has his job, and Jo gets to watch the man she was going to marry go out with someone who is the closest thing she has to a sister.

Im going to be pissed if they go back to the old timeline. I personally like this timeline.

Well, Stark left (I believe) due to the actor not wanting to do the show anymore. The fact that he was back for an episode made me think that's different, but apparently not.

I am reserving judgement until they properly resolve all those plot points they left hanging. Artifact, barlow, the fact that this time they can alter the past but henry who did it couldn't leading to uncontrollable unreversible time something something...

what the hell happend to the whole henry storyline since he came from the future and technicly should have a general idea whats to come. even though things have changed.

then they can bring back stark and I will care.

[Spoilers] I thought Grant was gonna stick around but Im not really complaining. I glad they didnt go back to the old time line. The old one had so much unresolved shit its not funny. There seems to be some hope for Jo and Zane when it comes back though [/Spoiler]

    ready for the christmas episode

And here come the unnecessary and episode wasting clip show.
I can feel it in my bones. Fargo like many before him in scifi shows will justify all the funds he needs and why Eureka is worth it by exemplifying the one off cool shit they performed, as Camille goes and talks about all the horrors they have unleashed.

Camille will be defeated temporarily and she will inadvertently reveal her hand in desiring control over Eureka/stargate/Atlantis/Destiny/The fleet/Dharma/the others/ The island/ ect.

Ultimately it will lead to another chain of beurocracy that will be introduced to amp up the Drama and cause anxiety for the main cast as they deal with another threat to their wholesome quirky way of life.

A series of Foibles and shifting plot points will be introduced that will ultimately be forgotten, and everyone slowly forgets or ignores the changes to their unique town and grow to accept the once antagonistic beurocrats.

Then the season will end 6 episodes in and we will be left waiting another year and a half for another 6 episodes.

I repeat, Until they resolve the Henry storyline, or atleast one of their original storylines; even acknowledging its existence, then I will call this a show, until then, Eureka is Dead to me.

Anyone else a little disappointed that they half spoiled the Alison plot almost immediately? Right now I think I'd prefer to be wondering why the hell Alison was seen as a threat, instead of wondering when they are going to figure out that there are outside players. Never seems to be enough mystery for the viewer in the overall plot in this show.

Agreed. Wasn't that impressed with the pilot, but the show is getting better each episode. Especially the last two.

The show's ratings improved drastically in early season four, and that got them season five. Last week we're told that Eureka's last season will be a six-episode season six. And then it was reported that it wouldn't be the last season. And now the show's being cancelled at the end of the fifth, with no sixth. What in the actual fuck? I understood when SGU and Caprica got axed, but this is just... odd. First the fact we get half-seasons every year, then this... Man I hope they haven't finished filming Season Five yet or else we're going to get another unfinished show. Joy.

They are almost finished with production on season 5, so I doubt we will get a proper ending.

I can't believe how shitty the network has treated the show and its cast. The cast found out about the cancellation on twitter. I felt awful when Erica Cerra (Jo Lupo) signed in and had no idea what was going on. You would think that they would have the decency to notify the cast before informing the media.

Since the show has been canceled then SyFy better not hold onto season 5 for next summer. They might as well show the rest of the series all the way through without any breaks.

EDIT: And I had just changed my damn avatar to show my love for Eureka too!

Remember when Sy Fy used to be good. As much as I dislike Eureka for abandoning plots and inconsistent storylines. It was sadly one of the best series on the channel.

Thats not hard to say since they eliminated everything else.

    I miss SGU.

    fuck

Is there any word on why it was canceled? iirc the ratings for the season premiere were good. Did they drop that badly?

Eureka is one of the highest-rated programs on the network, but apparently Syfy's new parent company (Comcast) doesn't think the show brings in enough $$$ to satisfy them.
