I really, really liked this chapter. I liked it even more when I noticed that Murata drew Tornado off-model too (but only Saitama and Tornado.)

Expected/10. Was not a huge fan of having this contest right now. The outcome generally made Souma look bad and otherwise served no useful purpose (he just did lose a challenge in the previous arc and already had his 'get serious' moment, so this was hardly needed). Not a good angle to run with the main character. But whatever, it's over.

Seriously, we just (momentarily) got past this whole government shutdown/debt ceiling mess and now we get Oga. One crisis after another. I fear for my poor country.

 

Beelzebub is getting more and more interesting as the weeks pass by as opposing to the load of crap some series are turning into.

Also starting to get a bit irritated with the author's attempting to tweak the readers' NTR buttons via the whole thing with Erina and Souma's dad. Just not something that needs to be included, IMO, considering the manga's genre.

 

Trinity Seven also updated, and it was awesome.

 

Why every time a shonen character goest to the US, or 'Merica, it involves geavily armed bandits in the first six panels? Oh well. Can't wait to see this. Also, Beel's mother?

I do like how cooking can be quite fast paced at time, helps to keep us from getting bogged down in details.

 

Farming manga has updated. How does a comic full of teenagers coming to grips with the harsh reality of the world and the uncertainty of their future never fail to make me smile like a doofus?
