She ain't getting that date. I saw the ending the moment it was mentioned that Urek is carousing around the resort somewhere. Mazino, sworn enemy of all the women of the Tower. I will be shocked if SIU doesn't have him somehow ruin Androssi's date (probably by waylaying Baam before he ever meets her, stood up again...).

 

Foreshadowing: "The food all citizens love"

Isn't Tadokoro supposed to be good with food that makes people feel happy?

Whatever the case. She'll present first, wow the judges and then get blown away by the Aide, I think.

 

It seems to be a pretty formulaic competition, if it goes like you said. Most people believe it will. Also, Alice is adorable and Erina is an annoying bitch.

That... de-escalated quickly. Though still a couple of midway interesting things happened. Still, the manhwa seems to be settling down to non-action again...

 

I guess it was a kinda reasonable way to completely diffuse tension, makes in-universe sense and all.

SIU treated that a lot better than I was fearing. Especially when I first saw Tangsooyook tards and Rak stalking their date in the raws.

As for Rachel, meh. We knew she was eventually going to show back up.

 

Frankly speaking she's been showing up too often. It kinda cheapens her Final Boss / Disc One Final Boss status.

Or maybe it's just me getting irritated by that face.

 

Hard for me to agree with the first part. Like Rachel or don't (and I don't), she's still one of the main characters of the story. We haven't seen her face in well over a year's worth of chapters.

 

Over a year? Really? Didn't we see her when she destroyed that Dan guy's legs - was it that long ago? o_o

Edit: Looks like you're right, it was in Feb'13. So I am that irritated by her face, I suppose.

Also, new Vinland Saga. Romantic interest for Thorfinn?

 

Otogi Taisen Fantasma is starting to get really interesting. I'm actually impressed.

Apparently the magical world is a completely corrupt and shit place to live, and it's been that way forever. And the main-character-without-a-cause has decided to take up changing it as his. Also, there's something incredibly sinister about his privilege, and I'm digging the demonic Lovecraft vibes it's giving off.

I'm just hoping that

His brother doesn't get 'redeemed' in some kind of halfassed manner. This would be a lot nicer if he's just such a monster that Tarou is forced to kill him, or something approximating it.

 

I looked at it... doesn't seem interesting. Doesn't really have anything that can pull you in.

honestly i dont have too high hopes for this one.
from the very beginning when the MC mentioned he was an average joe, well it was sorta obvious what was gonna happen.
cue strange new powers and love interest/harem

gonna let it pile up a few chapters before looking that way again.
