That said, post-canon seems a lot more interesting to me than 1800s.

 

If its true, I wonder what advantages the bloodline customization affords to the player.

To be honest, from a lore perspective, I wonder why anyone would choose to play anything else other than pure blood. Presumably, playing as a pureblood would give the player more advantages in the HP world, like bonuses to lore knowledge or something.

I'm just saying, in the books, being a half-blood or muggleborn seemed like a slight disadvantage(outside of voldemort and his cult that is)

The original was huge fun, so I really don’t mind that at all. Probably better if they don’t throw out an undercooked sequel as well.

In other news, I loved some of the ray tracing detail in the GT7 trailer. Whether all of it makes it into the finished game I don’t know, but if there’s one thing I know Polyphony will try to deliver on it’s the optics. The short bit of gameplay with the Mazda didn’t really do anything for me – captured with a controller and in cockpit view, so you couldn’t really tell anything from the wheel angle.
