Persona 5 /endthread

 

XCOM should prove to be interesting.

 

Let's not forget the FF7 remake, as well.

 

For me, it's Final Fantasy XV, Bravely Second, Dragon Quest 7 and 8 for 3DS, Persona 5, and possibly DQ11 if that comes out too.

 

No way even the first portion comes out in 2016 mate

Looks like a good year. Also excited to see what NX will turn out to be. Some stuff will get delayed though, three out of my ten most anticipated games in both 2014 and 2015 were delayed.

 

Persona 5, FFXV, Uncharted 4.... I guess I'll check out this year's AssCreed as well?

 

News circling heavily that Assassin's Creed is skipping 2016 (decided back when Unity was released, thus is how the Ubisoft publishing cycle works) and coming back 2017 with an Egyptian game. I hope it's more Aladdin and less AC1 though.

Bonus Mention: VR. Reeeeally curious how this goes. I'm buying Day One if PSVR comes with No Man's Sky... no matter the cost.

 

Good. I hope they take a year and write a really good modern Abstergo/PoE story. I liked Syndicate and the Frye twins, but there was no depth; just nonstop missions.

 

They've been working on it since Unity. They have enough studios to develop these games concurrently.

That being said, I don't think extra time will help with the script, lol.

 

The game I am most looking forward to, and most worried about is actually Star Fox Zero. It looks like it will be one of those love it or hate it kinda games.

 

From what I've seen, if you still love the old Star Fox (sans rose-tinted nostalgia glasses), you'll also love this one.

i have been watching it for the past 3 years and it is amazing how they utterly destroy the games.

My favorite so far for this one was Yoshi's story completed in ~6 minutes.

And seeing the inclusion of Diablo and Diablo II was a bit of a shock, i wouldn't have imagined the games could be done so quickly, even exploiting glitches.

Hmm, as far as looking forward to any 2016 release, maybe Dragon's Dogma? Not sure if it counts, given that it's a port to PC, and I've already played it on the 360 before.

Also, Ghost of a Tale or Kingdom Come: Deliverance, if they actually come out this year.

 

Horizon Zero Dawn is probably on the top of my lost. It seems to borrow heavily on action rpg like mechanics and the setup seems interesting enough. It's also cool to see guerrilla games doing something outside of the repetitiveness of killzone.

Also very intrigued by No man sky and the rise of vr tech. If that game can cash on half the promises it has made, it will be a truly revolutionary thing.

Excited for uncharted, mainly because of the story. I can't wait to see how they wrap up nate's story

Hopefully we'll finally see ffxv and the last guardian. Those games have to be fucking epic for the time that their developers took

 

Persona 5 definitely,FF XV with a lot of doubt and almost any jrpg.
ps.Tales of Berseria will be also released on PC

 

Hitman now fully episodic, launches with prologue and one location

 

sounds like a new horror for the games consumer. Shame since the new Hitman was implying it might be better than absolution.

 

Uncharted 4 and Deus Ex are definitely on my radar.
