Watching a gameplay trailer of that recently, I was violently reminded of Persona actually xD I'm considering that, but I'm already playing P4 G and I get Gravity Rush Remastered that day anyways, so I'm covered on JRPGs, and on new games that day.

 

P4G is waaaaaay up on the jrpg tier list, lol.

I'm getting GR next week too. Gonna play it on ps4 and Digimon on vita at work

 

I'm not sure I'd call Cyber Sleuth a pokemon clone. As for Next Order, yeah, it's another Digimon World 1 style game like the psp game.

 

Those are some really nice lighting effects.
Wonder if they'll make it into the game this time.

 

Quick question for Mass Effect players (Xbox):

I finally got around to finishing the game after 5+ years and was wondering about Mass Effect 2. One of my friends said it was possible to transfer your character from ME1 to ME2.

What does this mean exactly? Do I keep my level? My weapons? My skill points?

 

It's the same across platforms largely. You transfer your choices from ME1. You also get an experience bonus, some extra money and Paragon/Renegade points. I think that's it unless I'm forgetting something.

Level/weapons/skills don't transfer directly because a lot of gameplay changes were made between the two.

You know, I think it's high time I played the series again.

 

I don't think there is much in the way of a good vita emulator at the moment Jon.

Also give the DS Digimon Story games a try first (they may be called World) Especially Dusk or Dawn as that'll be the way this plays kind of. Only with less bullshit requirements to digivolve.

 

See if it's compatible with Vita TV. The thing is essentially a Vita that plugs into your TV. If you already have a ps3 controller, you won't even need to get that pack.

They're like 30 bucks in the US, so you could probably get one for under 100 here.

 

We'll have to wait and see, but honestly, I'm not gonna hope for anything. Last time I thought they were gonna deliver a good game, we got Dark Souls 2 and that game was just a huge disappointment.

 

Just watching quick looks. Looks promising, I'm not being fooled by the Destiny thing again though. Gonna wait until launch to see content, story and end game.

 

The game that psych me is Detroit. With the Robot girl. *Shrug, I'm a sucker for those type of story.

 

Yeah Detroit seems really interesting, I'll be checking it out.

SMT IV: Final and Fire Emblem are coming out this month. 3DS Hype engaged.

 

Yeah, my thoughts so far. There seems to be an element of base building and a lot of loot, so if you combine all that with an interesting story, I'll give it a go.

At the moment it looks like a meh cover shooter though. Firmly in the wait and see camp.


I've been playing Muramasa Rebirth over the past few days. Had it on my vita for ages but never played it. No idea why, it's Vanillaware, the art is gorgeous and the gameplay super fun. Can't wait for Odinsphere this year.

I've been playing The Witness, have cleared 3 areas so far, this game is incredible, considering making a dedicated thread once I've made it a bit further, because the game is gorgeous, and the puzzles are great.

 

The FFXV ATR today was amazing. The combat looks incredible now; a complete 180 from clunky Duscae. My hype is fully restored after 10 years of waning. Dat stealth warp assassinate.

Edit: Here it is. Combat vid at 34:40, but the whole thing is worth watching. There's a development video, and they finally reveal info about the antagonists. Also, release date will be announced March 30th.

I'm at the point where I don't really care if it 'delivers', the game just looks super fun.

 

Started Cyber Sleuth this morning. On the topic of Pokemon clones, I had to pick from 3 starter rookie digimon, lol.

Palmon, Terriermon and Hagurumon. So sad Renamon wasn't an option, but she's probably too cool, like making Gastly a starter...
