I'd be wary of spreading that '4k gameplay' line. Double the graphical power of the ps4 is not enough for 4k resolution, my 1080 barely is.

It's not inexplicable, Bioware apparently just values hiring SJWs over people good at their job, because every single game they've released in the last ten years or more has shit animations.

 

Yeah. Kinda pathetic. EA's Frostbite 3 engine is supposed to have really excellent bone mapping/movement capability. Not as mind-blowing as Squenix's Luminous Studio or Naughty Dog's custom Uncharted engine... but still an industry leader.

What pisses me off the most is that in a little less than 2 months from now, the vast records of forum discussions detailing their fuck ups with their games are going to be erased, just in time for the new MAE trailer. And it pisses me off that this clean slate bullshit is being done under the guise of improving the community.

There are a few fan-made forums that people are migrating to. Some are trying to archive what they can, but it's pretty much impossible with the volume of content that's on BSN.

AotS is a good enough RTS, remind me of Warcraft in that there are neutral camp of rats surrounding resources nodes.

But it also feel and play like a less polished supreme commander. You got ground tank and air force, but the main unit are the typical flying ship (frigate, cruiser, battleship and the Opness of dreadnought). last time I played there was only two faction and both seem similar enough. haven't played much, got sucked into Stellaris not long after I got it as a gift from a friend.


it also has some rock paper scissor game mechanics, with the bigger ship being dedicated counter to other type. like one to counter cruiser, one to snipe other dreadnought, a carrier and a support/AOE healer type

Ill try it again soon and give you a better review, this is all from spotty memory. even if my memory is awesome. I think more stuff may have been added or tweaked since.

 

Anyone here going to pick up Fate/Extella when it comes out?

Personally I'm stupidly hyped for a Fate Musou game, even if it looks like something on PS3/360.

 

I ended up playing a few hours of it last week, and I found it to be a bit boring. It just felt like what I was building never really mattered all that much, and there was so many designs that you can't really tell them apart just by looking at them.
