Found this site while reading a fanfic that has recently been updated (The Awakening of a Magus in case you are wondering) so i check it thinking there might be some good new fics. Hell they even have a dark section so I had hopes.

    http://partial-eclipse.net/sortinghat/nominees.html

But no I think that 5% of all the stories are straight or no pairings. What is happening to fanfiction?

Isn't Yarrgh in that contest? Or is that another one?

The Awakening of a Magus... updated? Jesus-fucking-Christ. That story is still going? Woah. I thought it had died.

Anyway, the link isnt working for me. How annoying. Since its all slash bar 5%, I'm not too bothered.

You know, that kind of story would normally interest me. But
    makes me want to puke.

I had a peek into one category. More than half of it is HP/SS. What is not slash is normally HG/SS. I mean, what the ...:wall:

Sometimes I fear I'm going to look for H/G just to avoid the slash...

No World no! Don't go towards the light!

There's a better solution than H/G! It's that little "X" in the top right corner of your browser! Click it! Click it fast before you stumble across a Harry/Ginny soul bond fic.

Seriously, just open your hosts file. Get the IP for somewhere apt, perhaps goatse. And put in that IP number as the translation for www.siye.co.uk. Easiest way to learn your lesson.

Ack! Nonjon, how could you ...

Before you mentioning that... that... THING! I didn't even know about it ... Out of curiosity I clicked on your link ... *shudder*
Luckily I could close the site before most of the picture could be loaded ...

Don't you ever do something like that ...

Well I hope you wouldn't click it before editing your hosts file. Sheesh. It's the forum that turns them into links automatically. (I thought removing the http:// might help. No such luck.)

On the plus side, if you did foolishly click the link, then at least be comforted to know the red and yellow coral snake has been gnawing on the top of Ginny's skull for over two hours and it's way too late for anyone to save her from the venom.

Voted for him and MrRiddler. Only two worth voting for IMO. Like a few others have mentioned, most of it is slash. If not slash the fic usually has Snape in it. Urghh.

Yep, that's the site that I'm so privileged to be nominated in. Please vote for me...I fear for my sanity if some SS/HP/Buckbeak Slash/M-Preg/BeastPreg epic wins...

You forgot the Fang/Hagrid on the side Yarrgh.

But seriously, I'm afraid to step foot in there now, what the hell do you have to be smoking to call Snape a 'beutafill creture'? (Spelt wrong on purpose).

Which category are you in Yarrgh?

EDIT: Alright I found MrRiddler's story under the 'veela' category, his is Secret of the Male Veela

And Yarrgh, I still cannot find your story, which one is it and which category can I find it in?

Now, go vote for DLP stories so that these far superior stories are not beaten out for an award by some slash crap

Superpowered. And Mrriddler, (what happened to him?) is in Veela.

I'm in superpowered as well. I'd appreciate any votes I can get but honestly losing in a contest that has a category for Mpreg and Soul Bonding (espcially when it's all slash bondings) would not upset me at all.

I've never read an MPREG story, so maybe somebody can explain it to me. I read the "shit baby" story in the Mature section, but how do these writers resolve the pregnancy part of mpreg stories? Do they get a C Section? Does Harry grow a vagina? Does it come out of his penis?

...............I'm just going to hope it's C section, then again with the size of the penis slash fans give Draco and Harry they should slide out easily.

Let's leave the graphic MPREG descriptions for the Mature section of DLP, please.

And while I would've voted for Yarggh and Mr. Riddler (just tried - UPDATE: 2 October - Voting is now closed.) I don't think they should necessarily be all that upset if they don't win. You're not exactly dealing with your target audience, given the look of the competition and other categories.

It's kinda like your girlfriend's breasts competing against a bunch of manboobs. Of course Mr. Riddler and Yarrgh's are the best but the vast majority of voters seem to have nominated an awful lot of manboobs...

    That's a really good comparison.

Sorry 'bout the mpreg thing too, didn't think.
