"Or what?" Harry asked, laughing with her now.

"Or you can find out what it's like to take one of my Bat Bogey hexes."


I stopped reading after that

 

Even JKR glorified that spell, perhaps Harry learns the Bat Bogie Hex and uses it to destroy Voldemort.

 

I think i'll have her threaten Harry with it, use it and have nothing happen.

He'll come back with something like I just blew my nose bitch, or something similar. Cant have bat boogers if he doesn't have boogers now can he.

I was actually going to have him backslap her ass in the teaser chapter I posted, but I thought having Buckbeak attack her because she didn't bow and was being a bitch was funnier.

I managed to work that out later, so instead of some stupid snake pet like everyone uses, Harry will have a very loyal, healthy buckbeak as his mount/gaurd

Much better then a damned runespoor IMHO

(I"m also thinking of making him incapable of becoming an ANimagus as they are too cliche and too useful) Why escape of fight when you can duck behind a corner and turn into a bunny. Plus there is always self-transfiguration ala Victor Krum in the 2nd task.


I have Harry right now being the most powerful student in the school BY FAR. But I need to take him to the next level realistically. Voldemort spent 20 YEARS wondering around studying magic and becoming more powerful according to canon. I need Harry to get beefed up. He can't aquire the knowledge suddenly or from Voldemort either other than that I am game for anything.

I have the perfect idea.

Make Harry get his ass beat. No one ever said he had to win.

Well for the pet snake thing, while cliche i think it's the better of the other said cliches. It's the most realistic one, I mean if your gonna have a pet wouldn't you like a pet that you can converse with, and poison you enemies. I would. What i hate is when the make parseltongue like a universal reptile language, and Harry can talk to dragons, and stuff.
Well i'vealways liked animagus harr, but i'd make him something useless, like a chinchilla, or a tortoise, or a sloth. So while he is an animagus, its rather useless.

 

Don't know if it has been used before and it ain't the best or most original idea but what about having a dark wizard casting a Avada, the curse rebounds(dark wizard dies) and Harry gets memories and a wee bit power.

 

I dont mind parsel letting him spoeak to dragons, mainly b/c i havent seen it use alot yet.

Another cliche is how there are so few dragons left in canon there has to be preserves, yet some fanfics have like thousands of dragons show for an assault on Hogwarts

 

Problem is your animagus reflects your personality. Like McGonagall : Proud, Independent spirited, etc. Sirius=playful, and loyal

Wormtail=OBVIOUS

In canon, the Dark Arts are a very small minority, and are made to look as if one inkling of dark arts suspicion towards you and you're screwed.
