I've seen lots of fics that make Harry the DADA teacher for some reason. The guy is still in school, he is by no means ready to teach.

 

he probibly couldn't teach the sixth or seventh years, but i could see him teaching the rest, mabie if he was like a teachers aid or something similar.

 

It doesn't nag me so much when they make him DADA teacher (because of all the horrible teachers and the fact the entire canon world is full of idiots) as when they suddenly have him become like 10 times stronger by doing it.

Canon wise though, the ony reason he was worth a damned teaching the DA was because of the subpar teachers. Besides, face it in canon the guys a one trick pony, EXPECTO PATRONUM... wow corporeal patronus at 13, drove off 100 dementors? hmm then why at 15 you were struggling with 2 like a lil wimp!

 

did we have the one where Harry goes to Gringotts and gets a magical credit card/or bag?

yeah, the DADA teacher *snort* the only part I actually liked in HBP was when Harry goes after Snape and ends up on his butt. He's a lot to learn yet.

 

Aye in one year(7th book) he must deafeat Voldemort.

Actually I would like to mention something that is becoming a cliche that I actually like.

Professor Flamel.

I mean cmon, how can you NOT hate the 700 year old guy?

 

neh, I like him if he's written witty.
I love to hate Malfoy Sr., Dumbledore and Voldemort ( though I sometimes pity the dark lord *snort*, especially when I have to read another "Oh, ________[mostly Peter/Wormtail, crucio"].
Besides, Flamel is kind of fun to read- I always make a bet with myself, and try to guess how old he is in the fiction. 700 *shudder* boy, it must be boring!

 

I like the guy alot, and I'm using him in a sense too.

Basically it goes like "Son I've been around before Dumbledore wormed his way through his fathers contraception spell, do you think me naive enough to give the man the real deal? The man's such a bumbling fool you and your friends got past his best security."

He won't be a large part, but he'll move things alone for one part

 

He was born in the year 1326, you can't just change this it's a known fact.

Yeah Benevolent Flamel pisses me off.

Though intelligent, slightly crazy, and less than light orientated Flamel is entertaining.

 

I write him as more of a mage warrior who's gotten tired of fighting, so retired to make things. Most beneficial spells the wizards use now were secretly created by him using false names and a glamour

God knows we don't need another Dumbledore.
