Yeah I figure I should try to act semi professional all the time, and try not to be extreme bias one way or the other, otherwise when I do have to lay the smackdown I'll have ppl questioning me. And I hate ppl doing that, it always just makes things more tense and aggrivating, lol

ive seen at least a dozen dozen stories where the malfoy family is the reason that the UK has muggle drugs and what not... or something similar...

I actually read a story where that Malfoys owned mugggle businesses a couple of weeks ago. I think it may have been Year of Rebellion by Full Pensive, all though I am not too sure. If I remember correctly the Malfoys use this as a means to rip off Harry. If I am wrong please correct me. Full Pensive actually uses this scenario a lot better than I have seen anybody do it, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if the people that wrote this stuff were ripping him off.

Those of you that merely use this as a means to make the Malfoys richer or more powerful, this does not make sense. The Malfoys are pure-blood wizards born and bred, they have no reason to be interested in the Muggle world. Even the most ardent of Muggle lovers (Like Mr Weasly as pointed out before) has absolutely no clue whatsoever about Muggle lifestyle.

it'd maybe make a little more sense if it was a half blood or muggleborn that had the buisness.. but even then it's still pushing it.

Considering they get pulled out of muggle school, some of them never go at all in the case of purebloods (as far as I can remember I've never heard of pureblood elementary) so having a 5th or 6th grade education aint gonna be conductive to doing buisness, a point I'm using that Harry uses to get over on alot of the biz owners in the wizarding world.

 

But since the movies wizards know a lot about mugglewear.

 

yeah that's another thing that bugs the hell out of me, them all running around in sweaters, t-shirts, etc... stupid me, I'd assumed they had to wear the Hogwarts uniform when anywhere other then Hogsmead weekends or in their dorm rooms.

Wizards should just become nudists. Its the best solution really.
