And is he really dependent on having someone who has the mark physically there so he can call the others, or can he do it by himself? I think he used Wormtail because he was weak after just being reborn. I can't imagine the Voldemort we saw in Order of the Phoenix not being able to beat the ever-loving shit out of a wounded fourth year.


And speaking of Voldemort using Wormtail, what a misuse of fucking resources. I mean he may be a weak wizard, but he does have a VERY discreet and inconspicuous animagus form. Use that for something other than being a man-servant. And the dude knows Hogwarts second only to Lupin, Dumbledore, and Harry (creator of the Marauder's map, Headmaster, and dude who studies the map) I mean, how much smoother would the operation Draco coordinated at the end have gone if they had Wormtail guiding them, or at least advising them beforehand?



But my biggest pet-peeve is the phrase "the Golden Trio." NO where in Canon does it use this phrase. ANd it fucking glorifies their Friendship as though it somehow transcends what we mortals can comprehend as it is the most pure loyal Friendship EVER. Please. They are FUCKING friends, not the holy trinity, so grow the fuck up and stop idealizing it, it cheapens the relationship the characters have and it removes their humanity.

Harry Potter is set in THE REAL WORLD early to mid-90's, in Britain... So how come Voldemort is depicted as living in a CAVE and assembling his troops in a cold drippy room where he sits on a throne all day and tortures random people? This whole comicbook style supervillian bullshit makes me want to throw up, ALL of Voldie's servants live in Mansions and Castles, YET THEY MEET IN HIS CONFIDENTIAL TOP SECRET DEATHEATER UNDERGROUND LAIR?! i mean even Hitler met in a goddamn boardroom! So when I see Harry don some black latex bat-inspired armour, or a blue and red spandex body-suit with matching cape THEN and ONLY THEN will I believe Voldemort lives in an evil top secret underground lair.

 

I find that as annoying as I find the Little Hangleton lair.

A) Lord this, or Lord that, etc. When Harry inherits something he ALWAYS becomes a effing LORD. Other then in reference to dark, dark wizards, when the hell have you heard the common age wizard reffered to as lord?

b) Castles. Whenever he inherits something, usually after a pathetic "Hi Griphook I remember you so I'm the best wizard there is!" bullshit bit, it's almost always like 2938372782872 castles and he's worth so much $$$$ he could buy GOD. And yet he does nothing with it.
