I used to be kinda open, someone asked about it or something and I would say yeah, but never talked about it to my parents. Well.... My mom decided to be a nosy cunt one day and read a fic that I had left up while I went to go to the store, wasn't even a smut fic. And she somehow managed to find the only smut in the fucking fic, and I get a call while I'm getting fruit loops. "Harry ran his hand up Tonks firm arse and gently massaged it" , something you wanna tell me?" ".... O_O......."

    Oh dear god.

I've had nightmares about that phonecall.

Edit: Also begs the question as to why you were reading a slash fic?

@Kari: ...looks like your mom doesn't pay bills either. No way would anyone dictate to me how I raised my kid, not even my own family - unless they had something to hold over me. Even still...

Harry/Tonks is slash? Did my fears about Tonks using her metamorph powers to grow a dick become canon ? o_O

@Knox: you should've ask your mom what the he'll she was doing out of the kitchen.

I've had fears about that too, but no.

Sleep deprivation + No glasses = reading Tom and thinking it was a Harry/Voldemort.

    ...

Perhaps I'm spending too much time in the WTF Fics thread...

While I was eating diner with some teammates after practice, this girl casually said, "Yeah, it is so weird how he disappears so quickly, it's like he can disapparate." Everyone turned to look at her, and she said, "You know, disapparate, like in Harry Potter."

Her boyfriend is on the team and was like, "Um, yeah, we all get it, but did you really just say that?"

Anyway, just made me think of this thread. Poor girl got all embarrassed and the entire time I was thinking 'you have no idea how much of a Harry Potter nerd I am.'

Santi, I'm sorry to tell you, but most girls of that age are prone to fan-girlitis, in which case her Disapparation joke is more of a 'trivia from her favorite new movie!' joke, than a 'I'm a Harry Potter fannerd!' joke.

If she's a cheerleader or Prep, that's doubly so.

And don't bitch at me about stereotypes.

    Those type girls are Scary...

Snarf, I'm very curious, how old do you think the girl I mentioned is?

@Santi: that's fuckin' hilarious. What's sad is that I'll bet there's a bunch of other closet HP fans on that team besides yourself. Could be a Twilighter there, too...

Rofl, looking back on it, eating dinner with a group of teammates usually doesn't happen with high school students. Probably should have noticed. :D

Do I really have to ask your age?

Ha, yeah, I'm a Senior in College.

The girl in question was a sophomore or junior, so peg her age at around 20.

Edit: @Blaise: I'm sure that there are no Twilighters on my team. Well, 90% sure. I have no idea what's going through the minds of this years crop of freshman.

Either way, they should know that an admission of liking twilight will turn their nut sack into a gigantic target for lacrosse balls. Can anyone say cup-check? Plus, we have a gay guy on our team, and he might just decide to violate the safety of any freshman Twilighter's asshole for admitting that kind of shit.

I won't deny that I read/write Fiction if someone asks, but it's not something I'd bring up on my own, so I'd say private.

On a side note When one of my friends found out that I LARP as wells as reading and writing Fanfiction she asked me which one is nerdier... what do ya'll think?

My motto is if they don't ask, you don't need to tell them. Only had 3 people ask so far.

    @Oz: What's LARPing?

Lice Action RolePlay. Basically you dress up in costumes and fight each other with fake swords. More fun than it sounds, believe me. o:
