Forging the Sword probably isn't abandoned - On the Way to Greatness had its previous update around the same time, so there's still hope.

One Flogged Horse was pretty good, though =\

 

It's probably been mentioned, but I'd really like to see Power of Time updated.

It was an elite fic for its time, and RossWrock and I traded insults/compliments quite often. A fool's hope, I know, but it was a favourite.

I need to update.

 

God this is a painful thread to read. So many stories I have set to alert, but none that will (most likely) never update include:

The Writing Therapist's Two's a crowd series. I loved it when I first started reading ff but that was a looooong time ago.

Rise of the Technomancers - A great story when I started reading but probably doesn't hold up anymore.

I've given up any hope that Radaslab will ever finish any of his stories, ever, but they're all guilty pleasure H/multi fic's so no loss there.

Prince of the Dark Kingdom and Magical Relations, while still updating, have lost my interest. Mostly because it took so long from when I finished reading to when they started updating again that I had forgot most of the AU history.

Stories that I had thought abandoned but recently updated were Harry Potter and the Invincible TechnoMage, Harry Potter and the Sun Source, and Harry Johnson and the Deathtrap Girl.

The really sad thing is there was a time where I didn't know you could subscribe to stories/authors and there are probably a ton of stories I started reading but never saw again.

 

Project M and Awaken Sleeper by Water Mage and The Insurgence Against Azkaban by Shezza88.

Knowledge is Power. So much :< For all its cliches and shit, the OC's are actually pretty awesome, the fic definitely has some lulzy moments and has some fresh ideas in general. The ultimate guilty pleasure fic.

 

In the Company had so much old class adventure inspiration. I really enjoyed how he tried to expand the magical life outside the standard Diagon Alley or the mystery search in Hogwarts. Sure, the story has huge flaws and lacks focus but reading it just for the ideas in it is well worth it.

A Matter of Perception by Kung-Lou. A guilty pleasure fic perhaps but I always looked forward to the futuristic Harry hinted at in Once More the Underdogs.

 

I'd really love to see an update to Something Grim This Way Comes by Ruskbyte, but the same could be said of Backwards Compatible, Masters of Death, etcetera etcetera. Never updates anything.

 

Stranger... Easily my favourite fic...
