The biggest issue most people have is the near blatant plagiarism in some of The Inheritance Cycle. See Here

I'm of two minds about this. On the one-hand he makes some fairly valid if a little ill-informed points.

    On the otherhand, wtf?

Only if you're a Mudblood? Wait, I remember an episode of Spongebob where he and Patrick were shrunk down in a submarine and traveled through Sqidward's innards - could that be what he means? Or that old movie Inner Space, perhaps?

Anyway, his points might be marginally valid but the point of your story (I'm assuming he's talking about the Skitterleap, right?) isn't a rote recounting of war and magic's effects on its execution/prosecution, but a character-driven saga set against the backdrop of a massively AU world. So the fact that you didn't spend eons constructing the minutiae of a magic-infused military industrial complex and its differences from the armed conflicts of today and WWII is a bullshit nitpick of the highest order, and misses the point of the story by a light-year or twelve.

So yeah, take the tangential (right word?) validity to heart if you like, but don't forget to put and keep it in context. Hell, you did have a flying fortress mega-ship, after all, reminiscent of the flying fortresses I loved seeing used by S.H.I.E.L.D. back in the heyday of Marvel comics. And the fucking Skitterleap concept explaining away a lot of the canon power/potential of Portkeys and Apparation. It's not as if you didn't have anything going in the department of magic's effects on warfare, savvy?

Creating another account and reviewing your own shit does not count.

Yeah, um. The review is from like four months ago.

Are you suggesting that i created an account, posted a review to my own story, then four months later decided to join DLP just so that I could post in this thread?

If so, then you would be totally right!

    Curses, another plot foiled!

Now excuse me as I retreat to my evil lair and contemplate my next evil deed!

I once left a review that consisted entirely of ALT+0173, to see if it's possible to blankpost a review. It worked. :awesome

Epic necro is epic, but I think this review needs to be shared. It was left for my collaborative Harry Potter/Discworld crossover.

Sounds like a psychopath so there's no hope for a therapy.

I'd default to involuntary euthanasia in this case. It's the only way to be sure.

Ah, so there is such a thread. ;D

It's nothing that special, just a review on FFF that had me staring at it for a few long moments:

They probably don't qualify as "Worst", but I have a couple of entertaining ones.

The lulz are strong with this one. He was right about the piece being pretty bad though.

For Flux. What the hell? What sort of review is recapping my own story for me? And what curse in Hermione? Did he even read my story?

Also Flux. Pandering to a mediocre fanfiction writer is amusing.

FFn "praise reviews" are like rares in Diablo III - you get scores of them per game, but they're all useless shit.
