I recall reading something a little similar to that, years ago.

Cept it was AU and Harry was treated like family by the Dursley's, was making decent money, and the Wizardry World didn't exactly exist.

And Hermione went to another dimension after the fall of Hogwarts, which still existed in Harry's world.
