Dantes-Okita here, sorta, didn't save for OP servants but I also didn't get my Kiyo Lancer at the Summer event.

 

Huh, pulled today on a whim, mainly for Saber and got the new Berserker and Xuanzang which is unusually lucky of me and uncharacteristically generous of FGO. Granted, didn't really want either of them all that much/would have vastly preferred some other servants but 2 five stars are 2 five stars so not gonna complain.

The gamepress wiki has them both rated rather lowly though, worth building still?

 

Well, when Skadi comes around, MHX Alter will be really, really good. Until then, she works well with Hans, but isn't that top tier.

Meanwhile, Xuanzang is an excellent ST Caster, of which we will always be in fire need of while events and hard quests almost never demand then - hence the low tier, due also to her being an attack focused caster, which is always terrible. She's not that great, but she does fulfill her function very well.

But, more importantly, Xuanzang is hot a cutie and MHX Alter is probably one of the top three cutest Saberfaces ever and a total cutie.

 

Is Skadi a wellfare servant? Don't use Hans all that often, I think but might give it a shot. Will take a while for me to level her anyway.

MHX Alter does have some fun attack animation with her Darth Maul esque lightsaber.

 

Skadi is a 5* support caster, basically Merlin for Quick, that will be released in a year and half. MHX Alt is basically a Sith animation wise, lightning included

 

It is always worth investing in 5 starts just because of their higher stats, especially if you don't have many.
I am going to try my luck on Tamano, again. If I fail, I will save my quartz until CCC and try again.

+ 60% of my Servants are arts, no joke.

 

MHXA gets a rank up to her Intuition C skill that buffs her quick cards a great deal later on. Additionally her NP isn't nearly as situational as MHX is, rather than anti-saberface she's anti-saber. And saber type enemies get an additional 150% bonus damage against them at NP 1. Keep in mind that she's a berserker so she already does extra damage to nearly everybody already.

 

So, those valentines present CEs, are they useful for anything else but the one scene of interaction and the +2 event drops? As of now, doesn't seem so and I think I will only get those of the servants I want to see the scenes of and focus on clearing the usual shop or is there another benefit to getting as many CEs there as possible?

 

I guess you fill up your CE pokedex? Otherwise, there's no real point to keeping them, except for sentimental value.

 

I'm getting them all, just Rider/Berserker left.

 

You can use them to level up other CE's as they're worth 30k a piece. But yes, other than keeping for them for sentimental value and for the next Valentine's event there little point.

 

I was a bit confused on how to do Alter quest without Jeanne´s strengthening quest. The solution was simple.

It was rough even with David. Occasionally you just get garbage RNG and she uses the charge skill twice in a row right after her NP and then your stall is fucked. First time in a while I've had to command seal.

 

Arc 1.5 is now available; the Epic of Remnant has begun for all interested. Just gotta hold out for the rate ups though!

 

Pulled Yan Qing on a single ticket which was nice after dumping 120 equivalent on MHX alter and getting bupkiss.
