Didn't even know this was out until I saw this thread last night.

Started playing this morning, got Tamamo Cat from my free summon.

Then the game gave me a whole bunch of shit for no apparent reason, including Saber Lily.

So I spent 30 of the 42? Quartz they gave me...



Did I get stupid lucky? Or do they just give Arturia's out like candy?


And are there any ways I can royally screw myself over early game that I need to avoid? Like, "Hey don't use that thing they gave you until you're level X! Oh, you used it, well I guess you're fucked."

One more quick question because after an hour or so of playing I'm still not sure.

If I had:

Buster Quick Arts

or

Buster Buster Quick

in those two scenarios, in what order would I play them to maximize damage?

 

Don't focus on many servants at once, start with building one from each class and remember to lock them.

Start a chain with Buster to for damage bonus, Arts for NP bonus and Quick for star bonus and end with the same card for maximum efficiency.

Buster: high damage, medium stargen, low NP gain.
Arts: high NP gain, medium damage, low stargen.
Quick: high stargen, medium np gain, low damage.

So basically if you have a basic BAQ: BQA for damage, ABQ for NP gain, QAB for stargen.

And that's without getting into hitcounts.

Lol, you will get obliterated when actual difficult content comes around then.

The Halloween event will probably be fairly challenging, Nerofest is easy mode.

It was way more difficult when I did it on the JP server, dark times that.

 

Christ, the drop rates are brutal. I need 27 Claws of Chaos to fully ascend 4 of my 4* servants and the Expert quest hasn't even dropped one yet (aside from the reward for first completion). Considering I've literally only been spamming the expert quest throughout the event so far, it's somewhat disheartening.

At this rate I don't think I'm going to be able to fully ascend my Heracles for a while.

 

First 10x summon during Nerofest, got the waifu herself, Nero. Not Arturia or Altera, but fuck it I'm happy.

Still haven't got my Nightless Rose though <.<

I have 2 friends on this who have a nearly maxed out Jeanne, one of which is lv.94/96, grailed, and fully ascended. Goddamn crazy.

 

I just got tamamo and siegfried from two summon tickets literally back to back. That seems weird. There must be an algorithm dictating the 10x summons because it doesn't seem to be quite in line with the described chances.

27. Hahahahahahaahahahahaha. Yeah. Give up. Also. I did that mission 70 times. 2100AP. Not. One. Claw. Not one.

Also to the dude that rolled altria/Artoria. Yeah. She is rare. She is SSR Servant, aka 5*. The chance of rolling one is less than 5% for a 10 quartz roll. Be happy. She is gonna be useful for s long time specially farming.

 

I hear that quartz rates after content are 15/month, or a 10-roll every two months and a few summon tickets.

Rolling anything after the initial reroll is pure RNG. The good news is that all content is clearable using any servant, and as Vascudo said even 2* servants will become noteworthy as difficulty spikes. Skills and NPs, not rarities, are the name of the game.

They will have paid quartz for one guaranteed 5* on New Year's. That's the only time I'm spending any money on any gacha.

 

Started playing last, think I'll need a while to understand what I should do regarding servant management.

So far, my Servants are Saber Lily and Saint Martha for lvl 4 heroes and Medusa, Young Alexander and Boudica for lvl 3 Servants and that story Servant of course.

Lily and Martha is a solid team if you make a few Jeanne friends and focus on NP chains. Also, you should have received a free 4 star summon ticket. Pick up Heracles, and swap him in when Lily or Martha is at a disadvantage.

Your Cu Chulainn caster from story mode is also incredibly strong for a 3 star due to his 3 time evasion buff, so level him up.

 

So I guess I'll post mine and ask for tips too.

About the only notable ones since I leveled Cu a bit on your advice above.

 

Marie isn't quite as strong as Martha, and her aoe Np is green and fairly weak compared to Martha's red Tarasque. Her 3 time evade/heal and charm skill makes her a little heartier than Martha, and she generates a similar number of arte cards... so you could still make a viable pairing with lily. But you wouldn't be able to make buster NP overcharge chains. If you need cu in your group to deal with assasins, dont bring marie. She will get facerolled. Otherwise similar pairing advice as with lily. Red and green np mismatch.

That said, there isn't a whole lot of content that requires skillful setup if you have a 70+ Jeanne or a 60+Gilg as support.
